It was the scariest moment of James life. James saw his life flash before his eyes. Then he landed on his own two feet. He was not being burned or crushed. Just behind him was Jack sliding down.
"I told you that you could trust me," Jack said "we need to hurry they can only keep it off for so long,".
"Who is they?" James questioned.
"The others that believe what I have talked about," Jack explained.
"I thought you were some crazy guy that had no clue what he was talking about," James explained.
"No I am not the only one and I was not the first, I am just a recruiter that finds people like you that will join us," Jack explained some more.
"Who are these people, where do they live?" James asked.
"There are many of us we live in plain sight, you might meet someone who you know," Jack answered.
"How do you not get caught," James asked.
"We have tech people who can hack into the city's main frame and make everything look like normal," Jack explained "for example the reason the patrol could not see us is that our tech people they made the patrol think everything was clear when we were really right in front of them, also they can shut down the incinerator,"
"Wow that is amazing," James said
"But it takes a lot of resources to do that, so we don't do it often," Jack explained.
"Alright all your questions will be answered shortly, just as soon as we arrive," Jack stated.
