A Couple More Deaths

Kenna POV:
I couldn't even stand to look at myself. The guilt was like a weight on my chest. It was unbearable.I walk through the busy streets of London. There were hundreds of thousands of heartbeats.It was killing me,but I refuse to give into my thirst.

I walk into a store similar to Apple and look around.I may be a demon, but I still need a phone.I am a teen girl after all.

"Can I help you?"A voice asks from beside me.

"Yes,I would like this phone in pink and for free."I compel him.

He looks frightened when he sees me but leaves to get my phone.I close my eyes and try not to focus on all of the possible snacks in the room.He walks back and shakily hands me my phone.

"Forget you ever saw me."I compel him,again.

I walk out of there and away from the humans.I had to stay as far away from them as possible.I refuse to let anyone else to get hurt because of me.I sit once I'm far enough in the woods.

I begin to set up my phone with all of crap settings.Stupid settings.Once I finish that I buy some music and plug in the earbuds.I put the music on shuffle but the only songs that come on are sad ones.I stop the music and shove my phone in my pocket.

"Are you lost?"A voice asks.

I turn to see a man in his mid fifties with brown hair and green eyes.Then a woman walks up behind him.She had blonde hair and brown eyes.

No,please no.

"No,just go away."I state.

But then he pulls out his phone.Bad move on his part.I speed over to him inhumanly and smash his phone.

"What are you?"He questions.

"Something that you don't want to mess with,now leave."I sneer.

They retreat and I try to regain control of myself.But I'm unable to when I smell the mans blood.It was too tempting to resist.I grab the man by his collar and throw him against a tree.

"No,please,don't hurt him."The woman begs.

I quickly turn around and slap her unconscious.I look back at my first meal.He knew he was gonna die.I pin him to the tree.

"Any last words?"I question.

"Go to hell."He sneers.

I bite his neck and take joy in his loud screams.As soon as he's bled dry I snap his neck.I hear people behind me and recognize the scent instantly.

The Cullen's.

I turn to see the faces of Carlisle,Alice, Rosalie,and Jasper.I try to run away but Jasper grabs me and pins me to a tree.I struggle under his grip.

"Let go of me."I sneer.

"Not until you calm down."He states.

"Why not just use your gift?"I ask.

"Because I love you too much to do that."He tells me.

That hits me right to the core.Even after everything I've done,I knew that I still loved him.He lets go of me and I look over at Alice.

"I thought you said you would cover for me."I say.

"I did,but if I did it for much longer then you would've ended up dead." She tells me.

"At least people would be safe."I remark.

"Don't talk like that."Jasper states."I can't even imagine living without you."

"Fine,so get on with it."I say.

"With what?"Jasper questions.

"With whatever you came here to tell me."I state."So,what is it?"

"Why did you run away?"He asks.

"Because all I can feel is pain and because of that I am killing people."I tell him. "I am so disappointed and disgusted by myself.And I didn't want anyone to see me like that."

"We would never judge you.You have to know that."He states.

"I know,and that's one of the reasons I didn't want to tell you guys.You're so forgiving and that made me feel worse about myself."I say as my eyes begin to sting.

If I could cry,I would be.

"I'm sorry you feel that way."He says and pulls me into a hug."I love you."

"I love you too."I whisper into his ear.

I pull back and give him a small smile. For the first time in a while,I don't feel guilty or depressed.Suddenly I am thrown into a tree.Ok,that hurt a little. I am then pinned to that tree.

"Cody?"I breathe.

I stare into his blood red eyes.They were menacing.

"Surprised to see me?"He questions.

I watch as Jasper,Carlisle,Rosalie,and Alice try to get to me but something was blocking them.It was like an invisible barrier.Cody tightens his grip on my neck.

"You know,it would be fun to kill you right here,but that wouldn't be fair. You deserve a much better death after what you did to me."He snarls.

"I never meant for that to happen."I state.

"But you did.See you soon sweetheart." He smiles.

I feel cracks start to form on my neck. But then he disappears and I fall to the ground.I take a couple deep breaths as my neck heals.Jasper rushes over to me.

"Are you alright?"He asks worried.

"Yeah,I'm fine."I assure him.

"What was he talking about?"Carlisle questions.

"I'm the reason that his sister is dead."I tell them.

A/N:Well that was intense.Ok,I have two things to warn you about the next chapter.One,it's a tear jerker so bring tissues.Two it'll be last the last chapter for this book.I know,I can't believe it's over either.But hey,there's more books to come.Vote and comment!! Bye!!✌✌
