Authors Note: This is going to be a short part. Sorry.
I scent a squirrel in the shrubs. I also noticed Half Moon looking around for any open prey. I start stalking the Squrriel. She watches me. I take a flying leap and tackle the squirrel to the ground and kill it with a swift swipe.
Half Moon then sees a squirrel as I watch her. She stalks it. I smile and watch her.
"Keep your tail steady." I whisper. I remembered my training from before I became a medicine cat.
She nods to me and I watch. She kills the squirrel. "Good good." I say.
"Did I do it?" She asks. "Yep!" I exclaim and come over to her. "Awesome!" She exclaims.
"You did great Half Moon." I say. She blushes. "Thanks." She said tail swaying.
I think it's time I should tell her.. I thought. "Um.. Half Moon?" I ask. "Yes Jays Wing?" She responded turning to me. "I think I should tell you now." I say. "T.. Tell me what?" She asked hesitantly.
"M.. My true life.."
