I thought that today I would show my mom the Velociraptor paddock. "How have your friends been doing?" My mom said,"good why" I answered. "What is there or there name?" She said, she seemed suspicious. "Sam and Amy, why are you asking?" I said, "just wondering" she said. "I've been wanting to ask you if I could show you the Velociraptor paddock" I said,"sure ,you can show me the paddock" she responded. We went to the raptor pen and she asked me this question"so could I see your friends?" "Not really they..." I tried to make up a lie because I wasn't going to tell her I had raptor friends. She wouldn't believe me and plus, she would probably be scared. "They went home, I think" I said, "come on ,Joy ,tell me the truth" she said. Sam and Amy stepped out of the trees, "I am telling the truth, Sam and Amy did leave" I said. "What are you talking about?" Sam said, "hold on a second" I said. "Who are you talking too, Joy?" My mom said, "okay mom, this might sound weird but, they are Sam and Amy" I said as I looked at them. They slowly waved to my mom, my mom waved back. "Oh wait, I forgot ,I know you can talk to animals but I didn't know you could speak to Velociraptors" she said, "what! Why didn't you tell me this before!" I said. She knew I could talk too Velociraptors! Why didn't she tell me that! "I didn't think you would believe me, it runs in the family, I can speak to birds, and your father could speak to Capybaras, and you must be able to speak to Velociraptors"she said. "Why didn't you tell me that also!" I said, "once again, I didn't think you would believe me, also, you can only speak to your favorite animal" she said. Well that explains so MUCH! "But only certain people can speak to animals" my mom said. "Thank you for telling me that, that explains so much" I said.
Mom's p.o.v
The turquoise and orange raptor started making some noises to Joy "what did he say?" I asked my daughter. "He said "who is that strange lady" Joy said. "Can you tell that I am your mother and that I can speak to animals also?" I said. "Sure" she said.
Joy's p.o.v
I told Sam all about my mom and that she could talk to birds. And about my dad,"so you are not the only one?" He asked. "She can talk to birds but she can't talk to you" I said, "oh, can all humans talk to animals?" Amy said. "No ,only certain humans can" I said, "I am glad I understand how I can talk to you" I said. "We are too" Sam said.
