"The Zanpakuto, its ability and shape is defined by the soul reaper who wields it. Yet this kid, Sakuno was able to wield both my sister and I into one blade, making it a powerful blade that takes life and grants it." Yomi thought as she sat on one of the pillars, "Though our complex synergistic union, she neither forces us or uses us in any negative way but waits until we give our answer in participating in the fight."
"Where is old man Yama?" asked Shunsui to Muramasa, "got any idea where he is?"
"Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto has been sealed away," Muramasa revealed.
Everyone had shock present on their face.
"I sealed the old man myself," Yomi replied with a widened smirk on her face, "I guess when it came to Sakuno and I, that old man was the common ground of hatred we shared."
"When we approached Genryusai's Zanpakuto, Ryujin Jakka refused to cooperate with the other Zanpakuto Spirit," Murmasa shared, "Therefore I asked the Katen Kyokotsu, Sogyo no Kotowari, and Minazuki under the guidance of Yomi to combine their Reiryoku to seal Yamamoto away."
"You did what?!" yelled Ukitake.
Yomi smiled and jumped down infront of Byakuya and continued to stare at the glare he held towards her.
"I can see why you are mad and I can also smell your fear for the one you love, Byakuya," Yomi replied, "But let me make myself clear Byakuya, as you fear for her life and want to prevent every threat towards it, it will be you who would ultimately end it."
Byakuya eyes widen from Yomi's revelation, "What do you mean by that?"
"That is a matter you should try to discuss with her and not with me," Yomi replied, "Well, considering the fact that she will ever give up that secret. There is so much you or the soul Society do not know about her or her clan, all they know is that they were feared among the 4 worlds and were wiped off from existence, with one soul member remaining."
"Impossible!" yelled Jushiro.
"It is true," Yomi replied looking into Byakuya's cool grey-bluish eyes with a mischievous smirk plastered on her face, "Tell you what, if you can defeat your Zanpakuto in a battle, I'll share a little something that Sakuno would never tell you herself...but, if you fail, then I guess I will have to take an unfortunate soul with me."
"W-What?!" yelled Renji, "That isn't fair!"
"Oh you see," Yomi replied, "It is, as you know I am Sakuno's blade of death, I am her blade that can call upon minions from hell to feast on the flesh of souls that I brand as evil and un-repentable, maybe I should take you if he loses for annoying the crap out of me and being less grateful when individuals give you a free room and board and tend to eat all their food."
Renji snorted from embarrassment and blushed at the idea that Yomi knew that.
"Anyway," Yomi replied as she turned her head towards Byakuya and ran her finger over his lips until he slapped it away, "Remember what I said."
Yomi vanished and reappeared at the 6th barracks looking around for traces of you spiritual pressure and pulling out something she knew you held.
"You know I hate helping you out but this could affect my world as well..." Yomi replied as she wrote down notes of some of the upcoming battles that would be happening.
"Never took you as the caring type Yomi..." replied a voice.
"Amaterasu, why the hell couldn't you take her form rather than me?" Yomi asked.
"I wouldn't be able to scare any of the Shinigami and besides, they do not know of my presence since Sakuno only uses you in battle around them," Amaterasu replied.
