"Unlike the other Zanpakuto that are born with their master, you have to come and find Amaterasu and I. You must be willing to defy what is right for the right reason and give justice to the right cause,"Yomi thought, "That is why Sakuno, you and I will work well then the others who attempted to get a hold of my power."

Yomi stood at the roof looking at the chaos of the other Zanpakuto who's will was being controlled by Muramasa. You smirked.

"Unlike the other blades," Yomi thought, "It takes time to earn our trust...Humans always talk about the same thing; Amaterasu and I have been observing your actions for a long time now, so you should understand this too. No matter what you had tried to tell me in the past, it meant nothing to me, it didn't speak to my heart.

Flashback

"Someday I'll inherit power and make the Gotei 13 want me and I will take your place old man! Everyone, even Byakuya, will recognize that I am the strongest ever!"

End of Flashback

"In that time...I knew you were the perfect person to ever get my sister's blade and mine to become one weapon."

"Hm," Yomi said as she Shunpo'ed to the scene and noticed something strange.

From the three days that have occurred, the events have changed.Ichigo chases Hōzukimaru through a corridor.

"Don;t think you will get away from me," muttered Ichigo as he continued to run untila petal cut his face.

. When a mass of blade petals obscures Hōzukimaru and moves towards him, Ichigo draws Zangetsu and slashes at the petals. The blade petals overwhelm until Yomi jumped in and began to slash away at the petals at immense speed until she looked up to notice a figure standing on top of a nearby tower.

"Hm..." Yomi pondered.

"Byakuya," Ichigo said in utter shock as he Shunpo'ed away and Yomi followed.

"There is something about Byakuya that is off... " Yomi thought as she reappeared and then felt the power of her blade pulse as she looked towards it and read the blade note: "Scatter..."

When Senbonzakura forces him away, Ichigo lands and demands to know whose Zanpakutō Spirit Senbonzakura is. When Senbonzakura raises his sword in response, Ichigo smiles and notes Senbonzakura is refusing to answer him. Saying Ichigo will find out soon, Senbonzakura holds his sword in front of him and says his release command. As Rangiku notes Senbonzakura's powerful Reiatsu, Senbonzakura rotates his sword until it is facing down, prompting Ichigo to recognize him as Senbonzakura.

When Senbonzakura drops his sword, it phases into the ground as two rows of enormous swords rise up on either side of Senbonzakura. As Ichigo recognizes it as 6th Division Captain Byakuya Kuchiki's, , the blades separate into blade petals, which rush forward.

As Senbonzakura Kageyoshi swirls around Senbonzakura, Ichigo recalls seeing Byakuya after fending off Senbonzakura Kageyoshi and states this means Senbonzakura is the one who attacked him last night. When Senbonzakura remains silent, Ichigo notes Senbonzakura does not wish to give him an answer and says this is fine with him before leaping toward Senbonzakura. Snorting in derision, Senbonzakura sends Senbonzakura Kageyoshi toward Ichigo, who is pushed back by the blade petals.

As Senbonzakura walks forward,Senbonzakura Kageyoshi clears to reveal Ichigo is not there. Looking up, Senbonzakura sees Ichigo in the air above him. As Ichigo yells and prepares to attack, Senbonzakura appears behind him and asks Ichigo if he believed he could defeat Senbonzakura with such a cheap trick as Senbonzakura Kageyoshiswirls around him. Blocking Senbonzakura Kageyoshi with the blade of Tensa Zangetsu, Ichigo states this is not the case before falling to the ground below asSenbonzakura Kageyoshi follows him.
