Chapter 18

Meghan's POV

"We have a problem" Jack walked in the room.

"What's going on?" Dean wondered.

"Look" he turned on the television and a report came on about eight kids being cornered by a gunman at a gas station. The name of the missing gunman was Timothy O'Brien. The report also mentioned one of the kids was shot down.

"Oh my God!" We all cried.

"I think I'm going to be sick!" Olivia shouted as she ran towards the door of the room and puked all over the floor and the guards shoes.

"Uh- sorry" she wiped her mouth. The guards took her out of the room and to the doctor.Matt refrained himself from laughing because of the serious time we were in.

"Timothy O'Brien?" I studied the name, "That's Nolan's kid"

"What's he doing here?" Dean questioned.

"What if Timothy and Nash we're teaming up for this?" Ava theorized to Shawn.

"You don't think-" Rianna couldn't even finish her sentence. Keegan hugged her tightly. He also tried to hide his blue icy eyes watering up.

"No!" I shook my head, I tried to hide the tears welling up in my eyes, "We've taught Sam and Jasmine how to deal with these types of situations"

"But what about the rest of them!" Ava panicked, "Cameron and Damon have never even seen a real gun before in their life!"

"What if something bad happened to Isabel?!" Rianna worried.

"Or Rylee and Racin!" Jaiden bit her nails, "I'm sure Timothy went straight for them, because their relationship to him"

We were all on edge.

Jack pulled out his phone, "Call Liam"

Ava grabbed his phone and dialled Liam's number. She put him on speaker phone.

It rang a few times.

"Liam?" Rianna spoke into Jack's phone.

"Rianna?" His muffled voice echoed through the phone. 

"We're all here Liam!" Ava said.

"Are our kids there?"  Jaiden asked.

"They're all here" he spoke on the phone, "All of them, don't worry they'll be here when you guys come"

"We heard about the incident with Timothy on the news" I stated, "we're just glad they're all okay"

Liam was quiet for a moment, "they told me about Timothy.  I remember when Jaiden told me stories of Adam and it sounds very similar to what the kids told me today about Timothy. What happens if Timothy is the new Adam?"

"Then we take care of him, like we did Adam" I said, "Because he's not going to stop, until we're dead"

"But he's just a kid-"

"No Liam!" I fired, "Kids don't plot to deaths of their families"

"We have to protect our children from the hell we went through" Jaiden  added.
