"Hey babe." Anthony approaches, pecking my lips. "Hey."

"What ya doin?"
"Writing my college application to the vet school here in Penn."
"Planning on staying close huh?"
"Yes, you have a problem with that?"
"Nope." He replies popping the 'P'.

I giggle and kiss him.

"Now stop being so cute, its distracting." I state child like.
He laughs and starts to goof around.

"So while you were goofing around I just sent my application.." I state.
"Well in terms of that I have a surprise for you downstairs."
"Oh really?"
"Yes mam."
"Well then I have to go see it."

He leads the way and when I get to the bottom of the stairs, Natasha was standing right there in front of me.

"Oh my gosh!! Nat!!" I exclaimed and hugged her. I hugged her so tight that I might have made her look like a tomato.

"Hey! You can let go now, so you know we can talk." She says practically losing her breath. "Sorry, its just been so long.." I say letting go. "Can we go for a walk to talk."
"Sure."

We exited the house and started walking down the street.

"How have you been?" I ask.
"I'm slowly going.. Sucking up my parents divorce.."
"Seriously. How have you been?"
She looks up and then down and then to her side and that's when I know that she isn't fine and that she's about to cry.
"I can't, I can't take it anymore.. Its my fault they're separated.."
"No no no.. It is not your fault. Look at me, it was never your fault."
"Then why would God let this happen. I grew up learning that marriage was a blessing from God. If its a blessing than why did he permit this? Why?"

I start to cry. Its clear in her eyes that she is suffering and that she never expected this to happen and I know this for sure.

"I don't know why he let this happen, but I know that something good will come out of it, because in all that I have been through good always appears after the bad and its always because of God. God is good."

"If he's good than he should have never permitted this. I knew I shouldn't have accepted Anthony's invite to talk to you. All you talk about is God!"

"Nat, all you need is faith."

"Well I did, I had faith and I prayed. I prayed and I prayed and I prayed, and guess what nothing happened. So faith is no more and neither is prayer!"

"Nat wait!"

And she disappeared, just like that.
