The next day I woke up a little happier because I was finally able to speak with Nat without her shouting at me and questioning God. It was such a relief to know that she is getting better at being patient and just listening.

I pray and read the bible. Daily devotion is very important.

Then head downstairs for breakfast.
"Morning! " I exclaim.

"Hey honey,  sleep well? " mom asks.

"Yup!  I spoke with Nat last night." I respond sitting down next to Beth.

"Oh,  how was that? "

"Calm,  warming, happy. I feel like she's feeling better and stuff..  she's more patient and she's listening without bursting into questioning God."

"Thats great news honey. " Dad adds.

"I noticed that too... I went to her house yesterday and I spoke to her about God and she listened to every single word without saying a single thing against it. " Alex mentions.

I sigh.  " I am so happy right now I think I am going to throw up rainbows."

"Hello!  I'm eating here!" Beth exclaims.

We all laugh and enjoy the food God blessed us with. But of course we pray first to thank God for the food he blessed us with.

"Mom can I give Baxter a piece of my pancake? " Beth asks.

Mom giggles.  "Sure. But just a tiny piece with no syrup."

"Ok. "

"Hey. So today I have my interview with UPenn." I break the one second silence.

"Oh yes. I totally spaced on that,  do you need a ride? " mom asks.

"You know what?  I do actually. Thank you. "

"Alex I'm going to need to watch Beth while I take your sister to the interview. "

"Sure."

"Ooh..  take me to the park!  Please please pleeeeeaaassseeee."

"Mmmmmmmmmm...  okay. "

"Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you! You're the best big brother ever! "

She runs off to her room and of course Baxter follows and I walk off to my room to change for my interview.

I put on something classy but not too classy.  Something that screams me but with a side of lawyer. I look like grown up me but not too grown up,  so I don't look old.

I rush downstairs and get in the car to wait for my mom to set everything up so we could leave. She got to the car and started to fix up the mirrors, check if there was enough gas and if everything was A okay.

"Ready?" She asks.

I just nod and play with my fingers because in reality I'm really nervous.  I pray and ask God to take control and I calm myself down.

Mom parks in the college parking lot and we enter the huge and beautiful campus.  If they accept me here I won't only be close to my family and friends I will be living in this beautiful campus.

"Hi.  My daughter Jessica has an interview with the school's director. "

"Ah, yes. Mrs.Cole is expecting you. Jessica can enter. But only Jessica. "

"Thank You. "

Mom walks towards me and gives me a small pep talk. Trust God and stay calm. I nod and enter.
Mrs. Cole is seated at her desk writing something down and then looks up.

"You may sit."

"Thank you. "

"Jessica. Correct? "

"Yes Ma'm. "

"I will ask a few questions and you may answer them how ever you'd like. "

"Ok. "

"So why did you pick our school? "

"Well.. aside from the school being close to my family, I researched and found that UPenn offers a very nice veterinarian program,  which includes working on actual live animals which I find important because it prepares us for when we start our careers as medics."

She writes some stuff down. I'm guessing it's of my answer.

"What do you think of our campus? "

"From what I see up to now.  It's breathtaking. It's beautiful well cared for and I would be honored and proud to be apart of this family."

"Last question. Would you recommend our school to any friend or family member? "

"Yes. From what I saw on your site and from what I've seen now.. Yes I would."

"Ok. So,  do you know the purpose of these questions? "

"Well from what I understand, questions like these are a way of getting to know your future scholar or student. See if he or she has manners and respect. I find it necessary and welcoming in a way."

She smiles.

"I like your answer Jessica."

I smile.  "Thank you. "

"Well you will be expecting a letter or a call from us. Telling you or notifying you if you were accepted or not."

"Ok.  Thank you for your time. "

"It was a pleasure."

I smile, shake her hand and exit.

As I exit I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and told mom everything as we said goodbye to the receptionist and made our way to the car.
