The next morning I woke up incredibly happy and joyful that I think it was contagious because Lena walked in exploding with laughter struggling to keep from dropping the coffee she had in her hands.

"Woah there friend!" I exclaim laughing and jumping out of the bed. "What are you laughing at?"
She shakes her head and tries to calm herself up enough to speak. "Bryan...sending....me....hilarious.....pics...of him...making funny faces..." She barely gets out.

"Look, look." She shows me one of the pictures and I myself almost drop the coffee. I set it down on our desk and fall to the floor laughing.
When we finally calm down, I go pray and she prepares some pop tarts to accompany the coffee.

"Hey. Why don't we plan a road trip?" Lena asks as she takes a bite of the pop tart. "Yassss! I agree completely!" I exclaim almost choking on my pop tart.

"Where could we go?" She asks. I shake my head. I mean I've always wanted to go to Cali or Connecticut.
"Why don't we go to California?" I mention. "Cali would be nice." She says. "We could go to the beach and the mall, ooh, we could take a trip to Hollywood too..." She continues.

"Cool! We could invite Bryan, Anthony, Alex and Nat, you know, our fams... We could bring the whole gang!" I say.

"Let's begin planning."

"And that's our plan." Lena finishes.
Me and Lena invited everyone the next morning for a meeting to share the plan with everyone. We filled like half of the pizza place with our families and our closest friends, which were basically Anthony, Alex, Nat and Bryan. We didn't make a lot of friends in college, everyone we could in fact meet were deep in their books studying I thought they would be sucked in like Alice in Alice in wonderland so we left them alone.

Respect you know?

"Wow. Did you guys even sleep planning all this?" Beth asks.
I giggle. "Well..." I barely say and already receive looks from Mom and Dad. My birth mom couldn't make it, so I called and explained it all to her, but she said that she had work so she wouldn't be able to go and confirmed her presence on our next trip.

We all laughed.

"If you won't be able to go, speak now or forever hold your peace..." I continue.

No one said a word or raised their hand so I assumed that everyone present are now confirming their presence.
"Well then, let's start talking about costs and transportation." Lena speaks up. The conversation went on for half of the afternoon, of course with pizza breaks, and we finally closed the deal. We were going to Cali!
