Jays POV
15 minutes later they come back down "what's the verdict" I say "concussion she'll be fine, but keep a close eye on her, she'll probably have dizziness, nausea, vomiting, headaches, slurred speech and delayed response" "Will I know the symptoms of a concussion I've had one before so has pretty much the whole unit" I say trying hard not to laugh. "Jay" I hear Kayla yell from the hospital room she's in. "Well she's awake" Will says jokingly.
Kayla's POV
"How you feeling" Will asks checking my eyes. "Fine can I go home. "Um well I don't see why not." "And I don't have a concussion" I say "you don't have a major one but that doesn't mean you don't have one" "I'm going to go back to my normal life" "I" "my life isn't normal as it is, so as normal as possible." I say interrupting Will. "Fine" he says checking me out. "Let's go I say as I get up. "Are you sure" "yes I say as Jay and I head out of Med and to his car. "So do you want to go home or to the district" Jay asks "district" "I figured as much" Jay says laughing a bit. About fifteen minutes later we pull into the parking lot and head in three the back entrance and up into intelligence. "She ok" Erin asks "yeah they did a CAT scan and a MRI. Supposedly she has a concussion but like a concussions stopped her before"Jay says as I sit in his chair at his desk. "Hey, Platt and the ivory tower heard how good you are shooting and academically, how would you like to be the youngest police officer of the Chicago PD." Voight asks me. "Your joking, right" I say. "No here's your badge, gun, and holster." Voight says handing them to me. "Thank you so much" I say "hey kid. Don't let us down. We got paperwork to do so I guess you got lucky, but the desk sergeant wants to see you down stairs." Voight says.
