Living with a phoenix is really tough, especially for someone who doesn't understand how to properly take care of this mythical and magical bird. But after years of researching, and falling in love with these magical birds, this person now knows, how they live, act and adapt to the environment around them, and they can finally take care of such a beautiful creature.
By asking many people around her and reading a bunch of the mythical books, that have been stored away in her fathers office, about the bird, Sophia finds out that her father has been keeping one of these mythical creatures as a pet for a number of years before he passed and also before she was even born. Now being 18, she now has a chance of knowing what will happen to the bird, once it gets old and looks sick.
While she's reading the books and multiple journals from her fathers office, she finds out that the very bird that she has in her house that she inherited from her father, is none other then a Phoenix. She only knows that it is a Phoenix now because of the descriptions in all the books and journals sprawled all over the floor. In these descriptions it says that this bird is supposed to have orange and deep yellow tail feathers and they are mostly dark orange, red and crimson for the rest of their bodies. On every 500th day, the Phoenix burns into flames and from the ashes, materializes a newborn bird, almost identical to the old one. The only difference between the old bird and the new, is that their knowledge of things will be hazy at first, but in the end they will have more knowledge of things around them then they did before being reborn.
"These descriptions are explaining exactly the bird that I have as a pet, but why did my father keep all of this from me?"
