When I looked at my surroundings I found myself stopping. As I listened to the habitat around me, I once again heard leaves crunching under someones or somethings footsteps. Though I was tempted to turn and go to the noise, I didnt dare to this time, because of the earlier situation with the white wolf. When I didn't turn to approach the noise, a voice came from behind me and said rather harshly, "What did you want?" This startled me because I wasnt expecting a person to come out of the tree line. "I didn't and don't want anything," I replied confused. When he spoke again, I wasnt paying attention because his voice made me think of someone I knew when I was younger, and for some odd ball reason he sounded exactly like them. Apparently, he didnt even notice that I was deep in thought, so I interrupted him and asked, "Do I know you by any chance? I'm only asking because I seem to recognize your voice. Also, because you sound like someone I use to know." He seemed to be taken aback by my sudden questioning because when I looked at him his eyes had gone wide a little bit, but he also seemed to be annoyed, probably because I hadnt been paying attention to what he had said before I kind of rudely interrupted his most likely long speech.
"Oh, no sorry, I don't think you do. I'm not really from around here. I'm out travelling the world and I only just happened to be wondering around this forest. Or whatever you want to call it," He replied back while he looked up and down the path. "Oh, sorry, I just thought that I might have known you, from school or something," I explained while following his gaze. "Well, I should be going then," he waved goodbye and started walking back into the tree lines where he had first appeared from about two minutes ago. Once he did that though the weirdest thing happened, I could hear more wolf's howling. It was like it was his cue to leave or something. I dont know why, but for the oddest reason I kind of wanted to follow him, until he had appeared again from the tree lines and asked...
"I forgot to ask you something, whats your name?" This sounded awkward because I didnt expect him to come back so soon. I generously replied, "My name is Sophia, I then added, but my question to you is, what's yours?" I felt kind of silly at this point because we shouldve introduced ourselves at the beginning of the encounter, but I guess with what he had said caught me off guard, so it made sense that were doing the introductions now. "My name? It shouldn't matter for right now, Sophia. Just promise me that you won't be staying in the forest for much longer," he said with a hint of concern painted in his voice. I had finally met with his gaze, he had prefect blue eyes, pure black hair that had a little undercut, and a husky-like voice that also sounded like he was always bored. "Um... Okay, this is a little weird, but I guess I can promise?!" I was to in-shock to tell him off and say that he had once again been rude to answering and talking with me. He once again retreated into the tree lines not saying another word. When I knew that he was completely gone, I started to wonder if he liked me or something because he had asked me to promise him that I not stay much longer in this forest. But also, from the way that he had looked straight at me, it had sent a cold shiver down my spine.
I was now walking back down the path that I had first come up to from running into the white wolf. When I looked back, I saw something shinning in the sunlight that had come through the tops of the trees. I began to wonder if it was the wolf that I had encountered earlier in the day. Unfortunately, I didn't turn around and go back to see what it was because I had remembered that I was playing a game with my Phoenix, Blaz. After awhile of walking closer to the spot that I had picked earlier in the forest, I sat down on a tree stump and began wondering if Blaz was coming to find me now or even if that guy from earlier was following me. I swear that every time I had taken a step forward, I heard footsteps coming from behind, but then every time I had looked back, there was nobody there, but the empty path. So, I just kept walking forward. "I swear, it's seems like its been hours since I first stepped into the forest to play with Blaz," I said to myself, while sitting on the stump. After I while I had to get up, so I decided that I would venture deeper into the forest again. Then after what seemed like 30 minutes of more walking, I stopped and tried to hear what was moving around me. I could also hear whispers and giggles or cackles.
I suddenly felt dizzy and hadnt noticed that I had fell and was now lying on the ground planted face down. 'That's weird,' I thought to myself, I swore that I was standing no more than a minute ago. But then when I had looked up a little bit, only then had I noticed that I wasn't in the same area as I was walking around just a moment ago. "Okay, this is really freaking me out now," I said out loud. I then started to sit up. "AHHHHH!" I yelled, as I felt sharp stab like pains course through my entire body, causing me to fall back down on my stomach. It felt like someone had just stabbed me a bunch of times and then ran off. I carefully tried to find all the spots in my body that hurt right now. Luckily, I had found most of them when...
"Sophia?! Are you okay?" A familiar voice asked. I looked up slightly to see the mystery man from earlier. "I don't think so," I shook my head and replied kindly, trying my best not to move a muscle, as it hurt too. "Alright, do you mind if I help you up, it might hurt a little but it's better to sit up on the ground, then it is to be lying down?" He asked politely. "Um... Sure. Yeah okay," was all that I was able to say back to him. I was trying so hard to hold back the tears that were threatening to leak down my face. I then felt his presence on top and behind me. I then noticed that I was slowly being picked up by my waist. It was by this action that I had let a little whimper out, but I didnt think that he had heard it, until his pace on picking me up had completely stopped. W-what, w-why did you s-stop? I asked, but he replied, I stopped because I thought I was causing you pain, but Im guessing not? I just shook my head and he continued to slowly pick me up. I did wince every time he brought me further away from the ground, but that pain wasnt from him.
Once I was all the way off the ground, he asked me if I could walk. I just nodded, pushed him off lightly and started to walk. He just started following, walking beside me but then suddenly stopped and told me to sit on the tree stomp that was in front of us. I damn near died while trying to sit because of the agonizing pain that was sent through my body once again. I think he had noticed that I was having a tough time sitting because he came over and sat next to me on the stomp and told me to lean against his shoulder. I then remembered that I had no idea what-so-ever what this guys name was, so I demanded, "You didn't tell me your name earlier," I said and then added, "You actually said that it didn't matter at the time, and then you asked me to pro-" I was stopped abruptly, as I noticed that he was leaning into my face and I instantly blushed from this. His face was now so close to mine, it was almost way to uncomfortable. The next thing I knew, I was looking into those prefect silvery-blue eyes. Suddenly his eyes closed, and I felt his lips kiss mine ever so gently. I just sat there dazed and in shock. After a minute or two of being intoxicated by his sweet aroma, I gently wrapped my arms around his neck, as I closed my eyes slowly. What seemed like ages I backed away for air and started to panic. I think he might have sensed this because he had slid away from me a little and said, "The name is Levi. And now standing behind me, being very obnoxious are my friends, so from left to right... " I was so shocked by the kiss I didn't even notice that there were at least 7 other people standing behind Levi. I also didn't realize that he was telling me their names, until one of them asked Levi to stop for a sec and look at me.
Once he turned back to look at me, I noticed that he was trying to call my name, -phia, hey Sophia?! I was then taken out of my daze when I felt his hand on my shoulder. Huh, were you saying something? I asked. He just looked at me with concern written all over his voice and then he sighed, "Oh, never mind. I'll tell you there names later, OR they can introduce themselves. Not now but later. He had to emphasize the last bit for the others. "Sorry," I said ashamed. "There's no need to be ashamed for not listening, considering what just happened, So, its completely understandable to be in shock still, I dont blame you," Levi replied. I then realized that my body was starting to burn again, and I started to wince. I think I saw all of them start to move forward, but Levi suddenly stopped them and told them to stay where they were. He then picked me up bride style and I had to hold back a scream of pain, because my body hurt in every square inch of my body. That was until I heard a whistle coming down fast from above us. Once hearing this wonderful whistle, but for some reason it calmed me down because I knew exactly where and who it was coming from. I again completely forgot that I was playing a game with Blaz.
