T H R E E: Evie Mero-Bane

Evie's POV

Slowly, my eyes fluttered opened as i regained consciousness. I sat myself up to see the same cute boy from earlier, Alec Lightwood. I wasn't sure if it had been him, Jace or Isabelle who had knocked me out, but I wanted answers.

"Who knocked me out earlier?" I asked. "Jace did, we need answers," Alec told me with a straight face and arms crossed.
"And you expect me to just give answers to the people that I helped and then knocked me unconscious not even five minutes after?!" I yelled standing up and stomping my foot, a glare on my face. "Much less after what you just pulled-" then I got a flirty idea and smirked walking towards Alec and touched his arm, "well I mean, unless you could do something for me. . ."

A dark haired Isabelle Lightwood then walked into the room interrupting my flirt session, turned to Alec, and said
"Alec. . . Be nice, she just woke up-" then she turned to me, "Sorry about my big brother, I'm Izzy."

"I know who you both are" I told the two, "I think I've been raised long enough in the downworld to know that" I said crossing my arms and shrugging.

"Then you won't mind us asking how you are still alive? The last of the Mero's are said to be dead. They were attacked by Valentine, He wanted to be the most powerful and rich ShadowHunter. But he couldn't with the Mero's in the way! Now how are you still alive?!" Alec yelled, he seemed to be getting really frustrated over nothing and it was really making my blood boil and I couldn't hold it in any longer....

"Don't you think I know that?! He wanted us dead! All of us dead! My mother went through hell just trying to protect me and my brother! And when Valentine finally came for us-" I started to cool down, "she- she, had to think quick. The only person she could think of to take us in and protect us, was Magnus..."

3rd person-

"Mom, someone's outside" a fifteen-year-old Nick Mero told his mother. The boy looked for further details, noticing circles on the mens necks, along with a man leading them. "Valentine and his Circle Members!" he shouted.

A woman around the age of forty came out into the room her son was in with her four year old daughter, passing the little girl to the older boy. The woman looked stressed out as she spoke to her son.

"Nick, get you and your sister out of here. Get out undetected" the older woman told the boy.
"What about you and dad?" Nick asked them.

"Just get you and your sister to Magnus Bane, ask him to protect you and your sister"

(Back to Evie's POV)

"And that's what my brother did. He got us out of there alive and to Magnus. We stayed with Magnus, and when my brother could start shadowhunting on his own, he did....." By now I'm sitting down on a couch crying as Isabelle rubs my arm up and down.

"My brother died three years later. . . He um, he went on a hunt and was killed by a demon. I, of course, did the logical thing and stayed with Magnus...even though I trained and trained to become a ShadowHunter....I was just so scared and now, because I wasn't there with nick....he's gone. But eventually, I started going out to hunt."

"Magnus is basically my father, he's the only real family I've had, besides Nick, since I was four. Evie Mero-Bane." I told them while looking at the ground. " and yes, the clave knows I'm alive" I stood up.
"I really really miss my family, especially my mum." (Gif is when she says "Evie Mero-Bane")

Before anyone could say anything else, I asked a new question. "Ok one, where is Jace? And two, is there any way that I could change out of these clothes?"
"With the red headed mundie that Messed everything up" Alec said standing up, I nodded my head, "and Yeah, follow me" Izzy said.
