"I know invite our hostess, to come give a speech", someone was saying when Darrick walked into the magnificent hall. It had a different and unique design and decorations from different planets. Sweet scenting flowers.
He took a seat at the end of the hall, making sure he did not attract lots of viewers. Things were going on smoothly, he thought, until he heard her voice.
She was putting on a bright purple gown that brought out her curves.And yet it was so natural,and...and...
He looked up at her sparkling eyes, and the smile on her lips sent an invitation he couldn't relate.He felt the corner of his mouth lift in a smile as he remembered the glasses she had on the previous day.Just then,she stared directly at him.
He winked at her and widened the smile on his lips.
Withdrawing her gaze from his,she tightened her hold on the microphone and addressed the crowd, " Before I had a place like this,a company like this one,I sincerely yearned for it and I looked up to companies like the Dominadors with righteous envy."
The crowd roared with laughter at her choice of words,'righteous envy',and it took about a minute to get them calm again.
She shot him a glance knowing that she had caught him totally by surprise.
" I watched the Dominadors with great interest,I wanted to be like that....and even something better.I grew up wanting more of life,craving exploration, wanting to do more.I promised myself that as long as I looked forward to my dream,I was gonna achieve it.You know the saying that the sun doesn't heat until it comes to a focus inspired me.And finally by the grace of God,I'm here today.",She paused, smiling radiantly at the audience,then continued,
" So,I'd love to,and of course with great honor, call on "Sir Dominador."
Darrick almost got chocked.He'd been drinking a glass of wine that almost went down the wrong way as shock registered in his brain,just as he heard his name.He used his handkerchief to wipe his mouth,before heading forward to address the crowd.
His eyes met hers briefly and he immediately shot her a confused and cold glance which promised more would come,later,though she was delighted to see the look on his face.

He cleared his throat before taking the microphone from her.The audience applauded in recognition of his presence.
" Good day everyone",he greeted. And they responded in chorus.
" I do feel honored indeed,and well believe me you, it came as a shock to me that our dear Miss Del-Vari had a long time crush on not just me,but also my achievement, thank you." The audience roared with laughter once again,then he turned to glance at her, and she forced a smile before looking away.He grinned ,satisfied that he had hit the right button.
" Well I'm happy as a fact that she saw me worthy enough to emulate ",he paused again and spared her another glance.This time,she smiled back at him.Seems he wasn't as speechless as she wanted,guess she'd look for another opportunity to get at him for trying to divert her attention while she was addressing the audience.
" Dominadors winery was only just a figment of my imagination at first.Friends,relations and family members saw it as a bad idea,a waste of time. They mocked me,made a jest of my efforts and failures",He struggled to block out his Father's words of rebuke,and rather focused in his speech.He wished it wasn't so hard now to talk about his past.He had thought that with the passage of time,the wounds would have all healed up.Well he had never been so wrong.The wounds were right fresh and open,vulnerable.
Kelly noticed he wasn't throwing glances her way anymore and he sounded....sounded....sobber...She felt the first stab of gunear.but it seemed the audience were enjoying his speech.It was like they couldn't see what she could see.
He continued, "But you see,when things go bad and you feel deserted, even by loved ones," his eyes met Dario's and it held for a few seconds."When you feel rebuked,lonely,hated or even despised,hang on to hope and your dreams,for the awaited time is near.They might call you stupid,nerdy,crazy,but once it is achieved things changed as proof that you're a whole lot better than who they thought you were",once again he let his gaze drop on Dario and this time Kelly traced the direction of his gaze and saw what she thought was a carbon copy of Darrick!
He was a twin???!!!!!!!
Achievers tend to be highly optimistic people. Not only do they believe in others, but their view of life is that things are somehow going to work out their way. This perspective pervades every part of their being.
