Chapter 1

I wake up from a nice dream because Mitch had come into my room and pulled off all my covers.

"Wake up Kat we have school." Mitch says

Oh god school.

"uh...Fine Ill get up." I say rolling off my bed onto my face.

"Alright I will leave you to it." Mitch says leaving my room.

I pull my head up and let my eyes adjust to the light in the room.

I pull my self off the ground and walked into the bathroom.

I hope in the shower. I always liked the shower because it was a place I could cry and no one would know.

After I was done in the shower I blow dried my hair.

I go back into my room and put on a blue top and white pair of shorts.

I walked over to my jewelry and pulled out a heart necklace Mitch bought me for my birthday.

I grabbed my beige purse that had a bow on it and headed downstairs for breakfast.

I walk downstairs to see Mitch who had made French toast.

"Well it took you long enough." He joked

" That's so funny I forgot to laugh." I say

"Well you better eat fast we have to leave in 10 minutes." Mitch says

"Uh ok." I say grabbing toast and eating it.

"Where's Jerome?" I ask (A/N Yes Jerome is going to live with them.)

"He is upstairs he already ate." Mitch says

"Oh ok." I say finishing off my food.

I walk upstairs and brush my teeth.

When I get back downstairs I am greeted by Jerome and Mitch.

"Alright lets go we don't want to be late." Mitch says

"Uh ok lets go." I say walking out the door.

When we were almost at the school I wanted to walk slower. I HATED school. Not because I have to get up early like normal people. I don't like it because I get bullied.

I kept going at normal speed.

"Alright by Kat see you later." Mitch says hugging me.

"Bye Mitch." I say as he went walking off.

"I have to go to bye Kat." Jerome says hugging me.

"Bye Jerome." I say.

Jerome was my best friend as well as Mitch's. Him and Jason.

I walk into the school and over to my locker.

On my way I got tripped by Jasmine.

I fell flat on my face and everyone started to laugh at me.

While I was getting up Jason walked over to me.

"Hey Kat." He said extending his hand to me.

"Hey Jason." I say putting on a fake smile.

We walk over to my locker and I get my books.

Jason knew about me getting bullied. He helped me through it.

"Hey Jason lets go." Some guy called out to Jason.

"Bye Kat I have to go." He says with a smile.

"Bye Jason see you later." I say still with that fake smile

After he left my smile leaves my face.
