The guards rushed forward and caught Ria, Jared and Tammika. But all of them were grinning from ear to ear. Except Tammika who was still passed out. The room went dark and, always a sucker for dramatic entrances, Esmeralda swept into the room. Everyone fell to their knees. Even Ria, Jared, Raphael and Louise found themselves bowing down.
"Very clever, children. But not clever enough. Your world, the six realms and earth will perish in the flames of war. And you, you will sleep. All of you will sleep. Sweet dreams children." Purple tendrils shot out of Esmeralda's finger tips, straight to their hearts. They gasped, their eyes fluttered closed. The sagged limply into the arms of the guards.
"Lock them up." Instructed the Elitian before sneering. They won't wake for a hundred years.
The guards dragged the five teens into a room and closed the doors. Not bothering to lock them. As soon as the doors slammed shut the necklace around Ria's neck started to glow. The necklace she had worn since infancy, no one knew where it had come from it had always just been. There. With a gasp, Ria sat up. The necklace grew brighter and brighter before there was a flash, and Ria disappeared.
