I was singing as loud as my voice could go. Everything in the room was blanketed in darkness, except for the single spotlight that illuminated the chair I perched on. The tips of my fingers had long since gone numb from the constant strumming of the strings on the guitar in my hands.

As the song ended I was met with silence. I searched in the darkness for some form of life. There was no movement, no light, no sound. My heart began to beat faster.
Hadn't there been a full house just moments ago?
I closed my eyes trying to calm myself. I heard the spotlight go off with a loud click. As I opened my eyes panic set in. My breathing stopped as I heard movement to my right.
"I'm coming for you. There's no place you can hide that I won't find you."
