Chapter 2
The bald eagle has been the bird for the united States national bird since 1782.Also the bald eagle is not actually bald and the wingspan of a bald eagle can be over 8 feet long. A bald eagle has over 7,000 feathers which I find is quite impressive . in winter bald eagle's are commonly seen close to rivers,lakes and coastal waters;places that have access to fish . bald eagles start to breed at about the age of 5 also bald eagles pair for life . the bald eagle is named because of it's piebald(coloring) of the Eagles its self.
