The Last Wish.

CHAPTER 7

I WAKE UP TO FIND IVS IN MY ARMS, AND IN A HOSPTIAL BED WITH THE LOUD STEADY BEEP OF MY MECHINES. I look around and find Jem sitting in the chair next to me. I smile over at him and wince by the amount of pain I'm in. He looks at me concerned "Pey..." I smile "Im okay. Im okay." The doctor comes in and runs some tests on me before saying "I would suggest an abortion. This babies draining the life out of you." I look straight at the doctor and say "I know. I refuse to have an abortion. I want this baby. Its all my families gonna have left of me when im gone." The doctor looks away she looks at Jem and says "Can you go get your sister something from the cafeteria?" Jem nods and leaves the room his shoulders slummed and the doctor turns to me "Your not going to live past your pregnancy Miss Grey." I gasp and tears roll down my face but I nod "Okay. then so be it." She looks at me but nods "Okay, ww are going to up your doseage and wish you the best." When Jem walks in with a plate of fresh strawberries the doctor turns to him "Your sister can finally go home James." I look at him "Jem, how long have I been asleep?" He frowns "3 days." I gasp and a nurse comes to get all the wires and needles out of me and Jem helps me to the passengers seat of the car and he gest into the drivers side. I look at him and he grins and begins driving. When we get home he helps me from the car and I lay on my bed. He makes me a bowl of oatmeal and gives me my pills. I take them and eat my oatmeal then Jem sits on my bed until I fall asleep.

Three months have pasted and I'm sitting on my bed with Jem eating ice cream my stomach showing my baby bump. He smiles at me and we continue watching World War Z. I try to stay awake as much as possible and mom and dad got premission from Jems school that he could stay home until... I die and hes been here with me everyday, he takes me places when im awake and tomorrow is his 16th birthday. I take some more pills and I lay down on my bed when the movies over and Jem crawls off his bed and closes the door behind him. And I fall asleep until the next day.
