A/n: This is a story that I wrote for my reading class last year, but I have been editing and fixing it up for a while, so I decided I should put it on my Wattpad account. Sorry for the spelling and grammar mistakes, I hope you enjoy it!

"Hey! Ponyboy! What's up?!" said an, admittedly, more mature, Two-Bit, "I haven't seen you in forever!"

We both busted out laughing, he was the only one who I had REALLY kept in touch with after Darry went to college and Soda married Carol, after Sandy dumped him in the late 60s. Now it was the early 80s and life had changed me, a lot! It was the 13-year anniversary of the Greasers and Socs uniting during dark times, against a powerful gang group called Edom's Warriors.

Luckily, I hadn't lost any of my brothers (biological or non-biological) during those times, though there had been many close calls. Soda and Steve, trapped, with no weapons but their wits, Two-Bit (not the fastest) running from the lieutenants of Paul Holden, who had gone all ornery-like after the Greasers' won the big rumble, way back when. Paul had been trying to take down all the Greasers and Socs in Tulsa, Oklahoma! He almost did too, and he would have managed it had the Greasers and Socs not been united by Randy and I.

Edom's Warriors had fled after we united, terrified by our resources, and the strength of our, now, unwavering alliance. They had fled, back to NYC, where they belong. The police had given them no chase, even though the Socs were on our side and they swore that the gang had been cutthroat and wouldn't stop or hesitate to kill people.

The reunion was to celebrate the Edom's Warriors fleeing and reinforce our alliance. I was quite excited because I would see lots of people I haven't seen since I was a teenager, especially Randy, Cherry and Steve, considering everything Darry and Soda had told me had happened to them after the "dark days".

Randy and Cherry had started dating about two years after Johnny's death; none of us could have guessed that they'd liked each other since after Bob's death. They got married when Randy was 20 and Cherry was 19; marrying that young surprised us all, but I guess when you're in love, age doesn't really matter. Then, surprisingly enough, they had a little boy named Bobby Harold Adderson, a few months later. He should be 10 or 11 by now. Then they had a little girl named Ashley Erika Adderson, whom everybody calls Erika; she was a little spitfire the last time I saw her. She would be around 8 when I see her next, I would imagine.

Steve hadn't married, but he had dated around, according to Sodapop's letters. He was currently dating a girl named Theresa, Tessa for short.

As for Soda, he had found his true love in Miss Carol Evans; (now Curtis) he'd settled down in a nice home on the outskirts of the city, to be close to the rest of the gang, besides Two-Bit and I.

Darry had given his heart to a girl named Angela, who turned out to be the opposite of an angel when she threw his heart out like the trash. Luckily for Darry a girl named Audrey came along and healed his broken heart, until he finally asked her to marry him at the University of OK. She said yes and they were now happily married in an expensive home in the city, a few miles away from Soda's house; they also had a pair a trouble twins, William Jonathon and James Christopher Curtis.

Two-Bit and I had decided to go on many travels after the "war" against Edom's Warriors. We had traveled across the States, Canada, and some of Mexico, (where an awkward incident happened where the locals believes I was asking for a cow, but in reality, I just wanted a taco), we traveled to Peru, (staying for a while until the village turned to listening to terrible music) San Salvador, Chile (on Two-Bit's belief that it was where chili had originated), then we traveled through Europe, but stopped there, since we were severely homesick. Half of our travels were funded by the government on behalf of a unique wildlife study; the other half of the extended trip was funded by a world cultural group working to achieve world peace.

After years of traveling, we decided to honor Johnny's memory and live the life that he said he had wanted; a country life. We lived in the country for several more years, in a house located several hours away from Tulsa, OK. We had finally decided to travel to the nub of Tulsa to reunite with our gang and our friends/families. We hadn't been to a reunion yet, having left Tulsa a little less than 5 years after the Dark War (as most of us called the battle against Edom's Warriors). We were planning on surprising our friends and families by showing up after making them think that we were going to Italy to enjoy to luxurious tours throughout Venice, Rome and Florence. We HAD convinced them, and we REALLY WERE going to go, but we decided a few days ago to cancel the trip so that the whole gang could be together again.

Two-Bit and I were extremely excited to see everyone together once again; we could hardly wait until the moment we walked in Randy and Cherry's home, where the reunion was to be located. The reunion had always rotated between Darry's, Soda's, Randy's and Marcia's homes; this year it just happened to be at Randy and Cherry's home.

Two-Bit and I were planning on being fashionably late to the reunion, so we were dressing up, as the invitation had said to be semi-formal. We had chosen button-down shirts, that looked like the Socs' old madras, with black slacks and brand-new tennis shoes (hey, the government pays well). We brought an appetizer and a dessert, as requested of the old Greasers (the old Socs were to bring an entrée and a soup or salad for their contribution to the "banquet"). The appetizer we were bringing was little wieners carefully wrapped in buns with toothpicks on them; the dessert we were bringing was little chocolate brownies wrapped within small sugar cookies (Two-Bit may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, he can cook darn well!).

We were ready for the reunion around 6:45pm, the party began at 7:00pm and it would take us around 10-15 to get there so we took our time getting the food in the car and making sure that we had everything. When we left it was around 6:52pm, along the way, I drove, not trusting Two-Bit about his claim of not touching the booze before we left.

When we arrived, the lights were on at the house and the sounds of music drifted into our ears. We walked to the door, realizing that we were about 5 minutes late. We knocked quietly and a few seconds later a young boy opened the door, he couldn't have been more than 10 years old, a small girl, who seemed to be his sister, followed him to the door. A young woman walked the door, took one look at us, and spread a huge smile across her pretty face, with green eyes!

"Cherry?" I asked.

"Ponyboy, is that you?" She asked, realization creeping up her face.

Cherry's children looked bewildered; it was then that I realized that the little girl was chewing on her RED hair and the little boy was glancing at her nervously from his GREEN eyes!

I told Cherry it was me, and she stepped aside allowing me and poor Two-Bit into her and Randy's beautiful home. Cherry led us through the small foyer into a large room to the right of the front door.

She put a pale hand to the wooden door and said, "Brace yourselves," before opening the door and letting the full force of the music slam into us, surprising Two-Bit and myself.
