That morning I ran and I mean ran to the barn. When I got there I swung open the barn door as fast as I could. What stood before me was nothing better that my amazing horse. I walked over to him and stroked his mane. I could tell that he was still nervous and out of place so I grabbed the lead and brought him to the pasture.

"Let's go." I said slowly trying no to get him all riled up.

Once we got inside the pasture I took of the lead which might have been a mistake because as soon as I did it he darted for it.

"Great" I said to myself "how am I going to get him back."

Either way I sat on the fence and just watched him run. Something about him running free I just loved. I loved his wild spirit and that's why he's for me. Suddenly I felt someone grab my shoulder.

"Ahhh" I screamed.

"Calm down its just me" answered my dad. "So what are you doing?"

"Well I'm just trying to get him used to the land and the area a little bit."

"So I see"

"Do you think I can ride him soon?"

"I mean I would at least give him a day or two first and we don't even know if he's broken yet." Replied my dad.

"Ya I continued."

"Well I got stuff that needs to be done but I'll be back later."

I must have sat there all day watching that horse because next thing I knew my parents where calling me for dinner.

"Don't worry I'll be right back." I mumbled.

I ran to the house as fast as I could and ate even faster. Then I ran right back out to the horse.

"Now comes the hard part."

But to my surprise he let me come right up to him and put him on the lead. Quietly I brought him back to barn and said goodnight.

"Till tomorrow" I said as I closed the barn doors.
