Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?
Will you still love me when I got nothing but my aching soul?
I know you will
I know you will....Cassias speakers blare Lana Del Ray as her and Calum get ready for their first day of boarding school. "Can't you like change it to Twenty One Pilots or something?" Calum asked as he ran the straightener through Cassias hair. Cassia put on a thinking face for about two seconds and then replied, "Hm. No."
"Please."
"No"
"Why not?"
"No"
"Cass."
"I'm in a Lana Del Ray mood so hush your face hole and let me be happy."
Calum rolls his eyes and smiles as he finishes straightening her hair.
They both bring out suitcases exploding with their belongings to take with them to one of the best boarding schools in New York. They lived in California right now, but they wanted to go to a boarding school for the rest of high school. For fun.
"Off to 5-6 hours of sitting in a plane we go!" Cass said in her most enthusiastic voice possible. Although it was obvious that she was being sarcastic. On the plane ride Cass was absolutely restless. And Calum fell asleep every five seconds desperately trying to stay awake. Cass was reciting random words she read from tumblr:
"Drapetomania: an overwhelming urge to run away
Wonderwall: someone you find yourself thinking about all the time; the person you are completely infatuated with
Oblivion: the state or quality of being completely
forgotten
Freestanding: to be free of
Sooner or later Cass shut her eyes away from the world and let her head fall onto the sleeping Calum next to her.The taxi pulled into the entrance of the school as we all stared at the gateway's sign above. What was supposed to say, "Welcome to Northwood," had a piece of paper taped at the end that read, "Welcome to hell :)". Cass raised an eyebrow and said, "Wonderful students we got here..."
The taxi dropped us off in the parking lot and sped away with our moms inside. Before they left they listed a at least fifteen reminders for us as if we didn't already know what to do:
"Brush your teeth every night"
"Don't skip meals unless you have to"
"Study every night"
"Make sure you eat healthy"
"Don't hang out with juveniles"
"Pot and nothing else, you understand?"
"No unprotected sex"
"Don't get caught having sex"
"Don't bend the rules and get caught"
"Have fun"
"Stay safe"
"Visit us sometime"
"Goodbye!" Are mothers are he best influences ever like yes 11/10.We lugged our belongings up the stairs and went separate paths once we reached the top. Girls dorms on the left, boys on the right.
"Room 103, 103, 103..." Cass muttered to herself as she searched for her room. About halfway through the hallway, she found her room. It was blasting alternative music and smelled of sweet scented perfume. She creaked open the door and saw a girl dancing as she packed her things away into the dresser provided for us. The girl was really pretty. She had pastel pink hair, she was wearing a long sweater with a see through back and an upside down cross printed on the front, and short shorts. As Cass walked in, the girl swiveled around and smiled a bright smile, turning off the music. Her eyes. We're so. Big. And sparkly. The girl stretched out an arm and greeted Cass, "Nice to meet you! I'm Aria."Calum grinned from ear to ear as he stared at his already decorated door sign. It was decorated with a ton of fandom trash. He turned the door knob and inside was a guy a couple inches shorter than him. Maybe more than three or five. He turned around once Calum walked in. "Hullo. I'm Ren. Who are you?" The boy stared at him waiting for a reply. "I'm Calum. And I'm guessing you're my roommate." Calum answered. Ren stared at him and blinked for a few seconds. It looked like something was wrong, but instead he just shook it away and smiled. "Nice you meet you Calum. So what do you plan on doing right now?"
"Er- well I was gonna go visit my friend Cass, she's new here too."
"Kewl kewl. Okay let's go."
Calum shrugged and led the way to Cass' dorm and knocked on the door. The door opened and in the door way stood Cass and a shorter girl Calum was unfamiliar with. "Hey Calum. This is Aria. We are now best friends. And I'm assuming that boy standing next to you is your roommate. And I'm assuming that you two are now the best of friends, or if not then you are now. So now that we're all friends lets bond." Cass grinned as she moved to the side to let the guys in. Yay. Bonding. (It sounds like Bondage.)That afternoon the four of them spent about three hours talking trash about their lives and such. It was almost eight at night so they all just decided to lay back and chill while they watched a family favorite movie: Forrest Gump. The school rule was no one is aloud in anyone else's room after eight at night with they were the opposite sex, so the guys went back to their room at eight and snuck out fifteen minutes later. Rebels. About halfway through the movie, Cass' phone rang, so she went to the corner of the room to answer it.
"Hello?...Oh hey..I've been trying to call you for so long where have you been?...Oh...well there's something I need to tell you...Okay sure you can go first....Wait wait slow down I don't underst-" Cass' eyes suddenly widened. Everything seemed to stop at that moment. She began to turn dizzy and started breathing heavily. All her friends looked at her worried and horrified. She hung up the phone and let it fall to be floor. She backed up towards the wall and slid down as tears began to endlessly fall from her face. She was crying so hard, and kind of screaming at the same time. She fell over hugging her chest as she let all the pain out. Calum ran over to her and pulled her into his lap. "Cass?? Cass what's wrong? Cassia just breathe it's okay. What happened? Cass look at me.." She looked up at him and continued crying. Silently crying. He tucked in a piece of hair behind her ear and waited for her to answer him. "What happened Cass..." He whispered. She let her head fall into the crook of his neck and placed her mouth near his ear as she whispered,
"Nobody loves me anymore, Calum. He left me..."
