God, his eyes were green. I mean Jake's eyes are green too but Aaron's were...different. They were a beautiful dark greenish color. They had this sort of a, how do I put this? A...a...mysterious glow to them. I've seen him a million times over at Jake's, but I never really looked at him. Like really looked. I studied his features. Wow, he really was the spitting image of his brother. They could be twins if it wasn't for the age difference.

With the ash blonde hair, freckles, and perfect nose. (One of the many things the Tylent family was blessed with ) Hell, he even had the same glasses as Jake. But I just couldn't get over those eyes. No matter how hard I looked at him.

I let my head wander; drowning myself in my own thoughts. Every feature brought a new memory, feeling, or question. Especially that scar that went from his collar bone to his neck. All the bumps and bruises from messing around with Jake. Aaron was just a giant reminder of Jake. Especially his stupidity. I laughed at the thought. I walked over to him and saw a huge smile planted across his face.

"Did you request to have me as your trainee or something? This could not have been a coincidence," he said as he gave me a short hug. Another one of our rules. No excessive amounts physical contact between the same gender.

"Nope, I'm as surprised as you are." I said as I gave a little shrug.

"Guess we'll be spending alot of time together." Aaron wiggled his eyebrows. "If you know what I mean," he exclaimed and gave me a nudge to the elbow.

"You know your not suppose to joke about that," I said sternly.

He murmured, "Sorry."

"And you chose here of all places to say that."

"I said I'm sorry okay! Can we please get over this."

"Just saying, don't be stupid."

"Dude don't get your panties in a wad."

"First of all, my panties are currently in an unwadded state but thank you for your concern." I could see his smile creeping back on his face. "And second of all," I continued. "I'm just saying idiotic ideas and expressions must run in the family. You won't believe half the stuff that comes out of Jake's mouth."

"Hey! Don't be a butthead."

"You're thirteen years old and the best comeback you have is 'Don't be a butthead.'"

"Your twenty-two years old and your talking to a thirteen year old because you have nothing else better to do with your life." He cocked an eyebrow. Oh it's on.

"Yeah, well what are you doing with your life?"

"Waiting for you to teach me something."

"It's not like I want to."

"Me neither but we all ended up in the same place didn't we." Ooh. Okay I give up. This kid is just to good.

"I'm five hundred percent sure I won this battle," he said.

"Jake would be so proud of you honey." I wiped a fake tear from my eye.

"Speaking of Jake. Does he know about this?" His body tensed while saying this. He looked very nervous.

"Well, no. But I'm sure he'll be fine. I mean I'm confident he gets enough of you at home. And I think you'll get sick of him the first few days." I gave him a little nudge and winked. He kept his head down; avoiding eye contact.

"Hey. Look at me." He looked up.

"You'll be just fine with me. You won't hurt Jake's feelings just because you're not a caretaker. You get a choice to change your job after they assign you one. I think you made a great decision as nurse. And I'm hundred percent sure Jake will support you as well in this decision."
