3. Set Up - Kuroo Tetsurou

"Who's that?" Kuroo asks his best friend. Kenma looks up from his PSP and looks in the direction where Kuroo is looking. "That's (L/N) (Y/N), she's going to be the new manager, she's a third year." Kenma explains, him no longer being interested in the conversation anymore, he un-pauses his game and continues to play. Kuroo only rolls his eyes and keeps eyeing you up. "If she's a third year why is she joining now? The year is almost half over." Kuroo laughs and Kenma only rolls his eyes.

"She wants to make memories before she goes to college." He says while playing his game. Kuroo only takes another drink of water before going back onto the court. He thought Kenma was right behind but he thought wrong, he was still playing his game. He goes back and snatches the gaming system out of Kenma's hand making him very upset. Kenma composes himself then heads back onto the court.

Kuroo is showing off; he's purposely spiking the ball hard, he really wants to impress you. He smirks and looks in your direction, only to see you looking at someone else. He looks at the direction you're look at to see Yaku in your line of sight. Kuroo only rolls his eyes and continues on with this game.

After the game Kuroo decides to talk to you for the first time. You start walking in the other direction of Kuroo, causing him to frown. You walk over to Yaku and giving him a hug, he just smiles as you hug him which makes the bedheaded captain to be a little jealous; you and Yaku are very close but Kuroo doesn't know that you're actually family.

"So, you're the manager." Kuroo says before taking a drink. "Yeah! I thought I'd be cool if I finally joined a club before I graduated." You say with a bright smile making Kuroo melt at the sight of it. He can't help but think you're cute, you're so tiny. You're almost the same height as Yaku, which he thought was adorable. "Plus, Yaku asked I'd like to be manager. He practically begged me to." You smirk while looking at Yaku. He just glares at you with a slight blush and Kuroo chuckles. "I did not beg! I didn't not ask you either! So stop creating lies!" Yaku says while trying to act intimidating. You just giggle and look at Kuroo. "Oh I haven't introduced myself! I'm (L/N) (Y/N)! I'm Yaku's cousin!" You exclaim, catching Kuroo off guard which leads him to smirk.

"I'm Kuroo Tetsurou, it's nice to meet you." You only smile wider than you look at Yaku. "So this is him?" You ask with a smile. Yaku only nods while look at Kuroo. "This is the guy I was talking about." Kuroo's eyes just widen with confusion. "What's going on?" Kuroo asks. You just smile and look up at him. "Yaku here, is trying to get me to go on a date with you." You say with a tiny blush on your face. Kuroo only looks at Yaku, he just nervously smiles while looking away. "I thought you'd be cute together is all... Well I'll take my leave now..." He says while slipping away with slight nervousness and a tiny smirk plastered on his face.

"Yaku! Wait!" Kuroo calls out for him, Yaku only ignores him. "So..." You say while rocking back and forth on your heels awkwardly and smiling at the bedheaded captain. "About that date." Kuroo smiles at you, making you feel less nervous about the conversation you're about to have.
