9. Military - Kageyama Tobio

Fallen Angel/ military AU requested by fireflights

"Kageyama! Cover Kuroo's back!" Daichi scream from across the war field. He nods and starts shooting the enemy so Kuroo can plant explosives in the enemy's base. Their soldiers slowly being killed off. If they get rid of this base they'll be safe, then they'll kill off the rest. The sounds of shooting and explosives fill the fallen angel's ears.

She cringes and walks across the meadow behind the Japan base. No one can see her, she's hidden, she sees this black haired man shooting the enemy.

He looks so dedicated... She thinks with a small smile on her face. All the angels have someone to look over but her, she committed a sin, she was banished from the heavens. She sighs as she sees that man doesn't have a guardian angel looking over him. She gets worried as she looks around to see a secret soldier creeping up to the man.

She may have black wings and fallen angel, but an angel is an angel, it's the duty to keep the human race safe.

She flys over as just as the man was about to be shot she encourages the orange haired man to shoot the man that was about to kill the black haired man. The killer misses him, but close to his head. She smiles and feels relief.

She walks up behind him and whispers in his ear, "I'll be your guardian angel till the day you die..." She smiles widely.

He turns around to see the angel just for a second. He saw the (h/c) and your skin colour. The biggest thing he saw was your smile.

The angel helps him stay alive through out the war. He couldn't get that picture out of his head.

I've almost died so many times... Why am I still alive?

He shoots many enemies protecting his family, his friends, his people.

"Kageyama, I may be a fallen angel... But an angel is an angel... You can say I'm an angel with a shotgun..." She whispers in his ear and he turns to look at you.

You look at him with a kind smile, he stunned, beautiful.... He thinks and pays back to the war in front of him.

You see another enemy sneak up on him.

"Behind you." You whisper. He turns around to not see you there but shoots the enemy.

"Kageyama, I'm not the only angel here, but I'm the only fallen angel here... Don't worry I'll protect you..." She smiles and looks around to see enemies walking over a hill, not yet notice to the Japan military.

"More enemy are approaching, over the hill." She says and he looks at the hill to see enemies charging at them. He starts shooting them off.

"Daichi! It's time!" He yells and Daichi only nods and radios in. Loud bangs then fill the ears of the soldiers who just won the war. Kuroo falls into the muddy pit, she smiles to see her friend who is an angel protecting him.

They may not talk, fallen and angels can not talk to each other. She only can wave.

"Kageyama, it's over... You're safe..." She whispers and he collapses. She smiles and takes out her wings and wraps them around him to protect him. He calms himself and he feels her presence around him.

"Thank you, my guardian angel..." He says with one last breath as he faints from exhaustion.

It's been a day, he is now in the hospital, his eyes flutter open to see the plain white ceiling. He groans at the dull pain in his leg, he was shot and he got burned a little, maybe even a minor concussion.

You only sit at the head of his head watching him over. Making sure he will be okay...

I don't care if heaven won't take me back... I shall guard him till the day he dies... Peacefully... From old age... You thought and stretched your wings and guarded him.
