It had to be a clone. It must be. It couldn't not be.
Ben Reilly.
The other half of the Scarlet Spiders.
Here.
Working for the Jackal.
Kaine sighed. This was going to be WAAAAAAAAAY more complicated then he thought.
Why was Reilly here? What was he doing here? Kaine looked at the footage more closely. He appeared to be... Working for the Jackal? A personal bodyguard? A hitman? This was making no sense. Kaine scrolled a bit more... And cursed.
Reilly just killed someone.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Someone was coming.
It was, of course, Reilly.
Kaine quickly activated his stealth suit, and stuck to the ceiling. It wouldn't matter anyway, if Reilly was himself. Spider-Sense and all.
But nothing was happening.
He's either brainwashed, or in deep cover. The only problem is... I don't know which. Better to let him have the first move.

He checked the records. Not to worry, Kaine had already wiped the portions with him in it. Didn't mean he was still terrified. Ben was still perhaps his only match.
Did he mention he was STILL WEARING HIS UNIFORM?!?!?
Kaine suddenly felt the massive urge to visit Houston. Apparently it was quite pleasant this time of year.
