ROSS

Ross was nervous, because a) a girl b) a fast chariot.
He looked to his right, where a girl with ombre tips sat. She was not facing him, but his heart raced for some reason.
He shook himself and turned his focus to the front, where a boy and a girl sat. He tapped the girl's shoulder. She turned around and he could see her features clearly. She had short, spiky black hair, electric blue eyes, and freckles across her nose. "Where are we heading?" he asked.
"Somewhere you'll know your true identity." she flashed him a smile before turning back around.
"My true identity? I'm not an alien, am I?" he gasped.
She laughed. "You'll see."
"We're going faster! Please fasten your seatbelts and hold tight." the driver called out.
"Butch, we don't have seatbelts." the girl said.
"Oh my gods, use your imagination for once," Butch groaned.
"Whatever, just don't get us killed." she replied.
Butch groaned again before the chariot went full-speed. Ross felt someone grab his hand and he raised his eyebrows.
"Sorry, I'm scared." the girl beside him said, embarrassed.
It's okay. Hold tight." he said, squeezing the girl's hand.
And she did.
Ross liked this girl. She wasn't afraid to show her weakness since you know, girls tend to hide their feelings to show they're strong. He had a feeling that they would be good friends, for he liked imperfect and insecure girls so he could be their knight in shining armor. (No, he wasn't a player.)
Ross closed his eyes and when he opened them again, the setting had changed.
A cold gray ocean stretched out to the left. Snow-covered fields, roads, and forests spread to the right. Directly below them was a green valley, like an island of springtime, rimmed with snowy hills on three sides and water to the north. Ross saw a cluster of buildings like ancient Greek temples, a big blue mansion, ball courts, a lake, and a climbing wall that seemed to be on fire.
"Wow," he breathed.
"Beautiful, right?" the girl at the wheels asked.
"Totally," the girl next to him and he replied in unison. Unable to resist it any longer, he turned to look at her.
She was undeniably the most gorgeous girl he had ever seen. Despite only wearing an orange sleeveless top and black leggings along with sandals, she was utterly stunning. Her brunette hair blended perfectly with dyed blonde curls, forming a beautiful mob of ombre hair which cascaded down her shoulders.
How can someone be so perfect without trying?
"Hop off, people. You haven't got all day." Butch called out, making Ross snap back into reality.
"Let's go, lover boy. Everyone's out," she teased, pulling her hand away from his and pushed him out of the chariot.
Ross didn't know what came over him, but he held out his hand for the girl to hold when she stepped out.
"Why, thank you, kind sir," she giggled.
"You're welcome, my lady," he bowed unsuccessfully.
And they laughed.
"Hey, I never got your name," he spoke up when their laughter died down.
She gave him a dazzling smile.
"Laura."
