*Courtney's POV*
"Is she asleep, Baby?" Ross asks me. I turn to look at Juliet in the back of the car.
"No, she's snuggled up with the blankie and teddies looking out of the window but she looks like she's gonna fall asleep any second now" I tell him. She looks at me and smiles. I smile back. "Daddy's gonna buy us McDonalds, okay? You want a happy meal?" I ask. She nods. "Nuggets and strawberry milkshake?" I ask. She nods again too tired to even care.
"Bless her" I coo turning to Ross as she closes her eyes. "We tired her out today"
"Sure did. She's so sweet. I love her so much" He smiles gently while looking up in his mirror to check on her.
"We should take her to meet your family tomorrow" I suggest.
"No. It's too soon. Besides, we lost her, more like she ran away, today. She's gonna be taken out of our care. Deep down you know that too" He frowns.
"Babe, she doesn't speak, and we don't have to mention losing her, things will be okay. Look at her, sleeping with a smile on her face, cuddling the teddies, she's happy, do you think she'll randomly tell her social worker everything tomorrow? She'll be stuck in that care home for a long time and will probably never find courage to speak, we can't let that happen to her. We'll help her become more confident, okay? She's not going to mention about today, I'm not and you're not. We're just going to say we went to the zoo and had fun and took lots of pictures and show her, if she asks about the one with the penguin we'll say the Zoo had a little event where children could meet and greet the penguins, okay?" I smile assuring him that everything will be okay. He nods and lets out a sigh.
"She's beautiful" He continues to drive, "I want to be her father, I'll pay for her if I have to. She's a special kid" he smiles.
"I love you, Lynch" I smile as he places his hand on my thigh sending shivers through my body.
"Love you too, Eaton" He smiles sliding his hand upwards making me giggle. "Not around the little one" I pull his hand away from under my skirt.
"She's in the back, besides she's asleep" He kisses my neck as we stop at a red light.
"Rossy..." I moan quietly and push him away. He smirks and continues to drive as the light goes green.
"Call me Daddy, I like that, say it like you did last night" He bites his lip.
"I can mentally feel Rex getting hard" I chuckle.
"It's hard, hard, 'cause you make me feelgood" he sings along with the music. I chuckle as that was perfect timing with the situation. Co-incidence. Haha. "But it's true" He says with a blush.
"Whatever" I roll my eyes. "How about tomorrow we try to get her to speak?" I change the subject.
"Sure, I'm curious to hear her voice" He smiles.
"Me too" I smile and hold his hand tightly. My phone goes off to see Twitter notifications. I glimpse at a few and hold back the tears. "Ross, drop me off here, I'll go home alone, back to my apartment. Not our house" I frown.
"No, something could happen to you - a beautiful, young girl walking around in the dark - no. You're mine, w-why do you want to go?" He asks looking like he's going to cry.
"I can't put up with the hate any longer. I'm getting death threats now" I cry.
"That's it" He growls pulling over. He takes out his phone and types at the speed of light, his face showing nothing but pure anger. My phone buzzes to see Ross tweeted:
