Over the next few weeks, I stayed in the hospital to heal. Alice would come and visit me everyday. She would even bring me flowers, on occasion. When she was with me Alice and I would talk for hours, about everything under the sun. During Alice's visits I would always try to talk to her about our current situation. She would brush it off every time, a smile never leaving her lips. This seemed weird, but I tried to not let it bother me. If Alice isn't worried then I won't be either.

During one of Alice's visits, the lady who's car I crashed into came to visit. Let me tell you, she was not happy.

"So you're the bitch who crashed my car? I at least expected you to be prettier," she insulted me with a smirk on her face.

To my complete surprise, Alice came to my rescue. She got up from where she was sitting and slapped the girl in the face. Holy shit. Alice was never violent. "Don't you dare insult Estella! First of all she only put a few dents in your car. Secondly, Stella is the most beautiful girl I have ever met, and she's especially prettier than you!" Alice was in full swing now; her cheeks were becoming red. "She's also the nicest, friendliest, and most caring person. She even took me in when my parents kicked me out!"

The girl looked shocked that Alice had slapped her in the face. Then she went from shocked to impressed. Throughout Alice's rant she stood there wide eyed and with a red mark on her cheek. "Wow, kid. I'm impressed. No one has ever stood up to me. It was a real nice change of pace. My name's Ashley by the way."

Suddenly my nurse burst through the door. He pushed Ashley out of the way and ran over to me. "You okay honey? Your heart moniter started to go crazy."

"I'm fine, we were just having a friendly discussion with our pal Ashley here. Only its not so friendly," I caught Alice rolling her eyes at my words. "But I think that Ashley was just about to leave, don't you Al?"

Alice agreed with me. "Yes, she was. Bye Ashley." She glared at her until Ashley left the room; quietly shutting the door.

"I really don't like that bi- I mean her," my nurse muttered.

I chuckled, "I don't either. But Alice showed her! That was awesome!" I help up my good arm and Alice high fived it.

"Well if you're not about to die, stupid, then I have other places to be. Also, you're getting released from this deathtrap tomorrow, hun. Good luck out there," He started walking toward the door. "And one more thing, honey. Confess your feelings for one another already!" He grinned widely then shut the door, leaving Alice and I alone.

"Al-"

"Stella"

We both turned and look at each other. I took in Alice. Her features, from her adorable brown eyes to her incredibly caring personality. I thought about the kiss and what it meant to me. "Alice." I watched her eyes dilate, and noticed her breathing hitch. "I love you."

"I love you too."
