Chapter 9

Zeref Pov
The ground shook from under me
'Boom' I look towards the sky deep in the woods. 'What's going on?' I could see black smoke filling the dark sky but soon turned back into the light blue sky. I didn't know if I should go see what happened or just stay here all alone. . .
I'm going it could be acnologia and where ever he goes trouble happens.

I walked towards the black smoke, all the birds flew away from the blast. I know the person that did the last attack was powerful cause it takes alot of power to make the while sky turn black. Once I got there and almost fell because there was a cliff or it looked like a cliff because there was no earth infront of me it was like twenty feet down and three miles wide.

My eyes widen in shock, I couldn't believe my eyes there was nothing. . .

Jellals Pov
After acnologia vanished I stood there for a minute, 'why did I do that? Why did I show him my power?' Now that I showed acnologia my power he's going to come after me none stop.
I look up to the now normal blue sky, I took a deep breath then exhaled and left. As I was walking in village I could hear the villagers talking about the big blast, and how the day turned into night. I kept my head down as they were talking, I didn't want them to know it was me that caused all of this "that was really scary " " I know this is why I don't like wizards, they destroy everything that's in their path"
I looked up at the two old men talking to each other. They stopped talking and glared at me as I passed them, once I made it in my room I laid down and tried not to listen to my thoughts.

-hours later-

Acnologia Pov
My body was all messed up from his attack, I retreated to a cave and stayed there to heal. But I couldn't help but smile, that one attack messed me up really bad 'finally someone that can entertain me for awhile' I was so happy that jellal can actually hurt me. Now I will have a formidable foe to battle with, I hear foot steps outside of the cave I prepare myself to attack who ever comes in. " wow....who did this to you?" 'Zeref '
I sit back down on a rock "what do you want?" Zeref looked at me and shook his head "I went to go where the blast was to see if it was you. . . .and who do I find? You" I stared at my feet as he continued to talk "you didn't answer me. Who did this to you?" A big smile appeared on my face and looked up at him and stared straight into his eyes "jellal"
Zeref had a confused look on his face "jellal? He wouldn't be able to do this" "so he didn't tell you that he was a 'hunter'? I'm shocked if he was an actual friend he would've told you right?" "We all have secrets acnologia. . . What I'm thinking is why did he have to attack you and mess you up this bad?" I put on a dumb face "I don't know ?" I soon felt his dark aura " if you go after him again I will kill you myself" I start to laugh "awe is somebody happy to have a friend to talk to ? " He glares at me "just dont"

He walks up to me and starts to heal my wounds, after he did he started to leave. I took off my torn up cloak and leave as well to look for jellal.....

-Morning-
Jellal Pov
I woke up to the sun hitting my eyes yet again. I groan trying to cover from the sun. I put my arm over my head, soon I remembered what happened yesterday I groan again thinking about what happened. "Why me" I muttered under my breath, after I laid on my back for awhile I get up and take a shower since I didn't shower yesterday and just past out instead. Once I got out of the shower I put on new clothes since my others got all dirty.

I leave my room and go to see Zeref and talk to him about acnologia and what he told me about him. If he tells me that is

-time skip-

Once I got to the abandoned village I go in a house and see Zeref sitting on a wooden chair by the table and taking a sip of tea or something. He sets it on the table and looks up at me
"We need to talk " I nod as I sit down on the empty chair infront of him "I have a question. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to......but why would I die if I was near you?" He looks at me than down at the now empty cup "have you ever heard of the black wizard? " I heard of him before they said he was an immortal like me. And that he gave acnologia the power of a dragon
" yeah " I see that he was very sad "I'm him the black wizard" why is he so sad does he think I'll get scared or angry and him for something that wasn't his fault I would have done the same thing being an immortal is like being in hell....because that's what it is hell.
