Edmunds PoV
I could help but realise how cold Emily was. I was worried that it was because she was only wearing leggings and a shirt but she seemed content so I left it. We arrived back at the castle really quickly. Emily jumped off the horse and ran inside in search of her brother. I followed Charlie back to the stables. Only to jump off my horse as quickly as I could to leave the couple alone.
Emily PoV
Racing through the hallways, I almost collided with several people. I was in search of him.
'Where are you caspian?!?'
Thoughts ran in my head as I raced he marble hallways. The setting sun glowing though the windows and the banquet hall door right in front of me. I continued to race. Faster and faster until I collided with a hard wall. I feel backwards almost landing on the floor.
'Ouch!' I grumbled and I arose from the floor.
'Sorry, are you o... Emily?' It was caspian
'Cas?' I was dragged into a gigantic hug. It sent a warmth through out me. My big brother is back!
'Emily, I thought you were gone!'
'Can't get rid of me that easily.'
'Well have to have a council meeting to determine what to do next. For now, it's getting late and you should go to bed. Goodnight!'
With a final hug he sent me to my room.
I rush back to find Edmund there. All the cold that was I me dispersed as Edmund wrapped his harms around me.
The kiss was magical.
In his arms I knew I would always be safe. Always be at home.
