Forget the love (FairyTail Fanfiction •Gruvia•)

No Love

The rain began to pour down on Magnolia and Wendy and Juvia has arrive at the doorsteps of Fairy Tail. Juvia stared up at its sign with her dead eyes and she recall no memory.

"Do you recognise it?" Wendy asked. "No." Juvia answered.

Wendy slowly opened the door to reveal a bunch of noisy men brawling while the girls just sighed and all stayed in one place where its safe from all the havoc. "Everyone! Look who I brought back!" Wendy said cheerfully.

Each member turns their head and were surprised to see the reverted clouded heart Juvia. "JUVIA!!!!!" Everyone rejoiced.

Juvia didn't know how to react to this rowdy situation and just stood there in awe. Do I really belong here? Is this really my home? My family?

"Juvia!" A blonde girl tackled her into an embrace. "Who are you?!" Juvia asked in surprise.

When she asked, everyone became dead silent. The blonde released the water mage and had a confused expression as tears rolled down her cheeks. "It's me, Lucy! Your Love rival and friend remember?" She shook.

"What is this you call love?" Juvia cocked her head.

Out of all people, Juvia has forgotten everything even Love. The girl who has so much love for her friends, family and Gray was now lost and forgotten. No one could believe it. No one dared to say another word and they all just looked down.

"Juvia, my child, you've come back!" The master, Makarov, said with relief as he walked towards her. Of course, she didn't who he was nor had any idea. She didn't know what to say. "Um...." Makarov snickered.

"No need to say anything," he said, "as long as you're back, safe and sound, that's all I need to know" the other guild members agreed.

"Master is right," Erza said, "if you have forgotten, then we shall make you remember again." She assured.

The rain suddenly became stronger. The wind blew harder. "What the hell?!" Gray panicked as he was running back to the guild. "Juvia need not to remember anything." Juvia said sternly.

"Why?" Lucy asked. "Do you really want to forget all the fun and exciting memories you had?" Juvia didn't flinch and just stood there.

"I don't know why but yes" Juvia responded. "Juvia would rather to forget what fun is and make new memories that won't hurt her any longer." She said.

Lucy couldn't say anything, she was really serious about it....

An hour passed and the rain has calmed down but still poured lightly. Gray arrived to see frowning people in the room. "Oi,what happened?" He asked bewildered.

Wendy walked up to him with Charles in her arms with a sadden face, "where's Juvia?" Gray huffed but he was answered with only silence.

"Hey!" Natsu entered, "have you seen Luce?" He asked wondering about until he saw Wendy down. He snapped. "Oi! Whaddya do to Wendy you bastard?!" He shouted angrily at Gray, misunderstanding things.

"I did nothing idiot!" Gray fired back getting snapped as well.

"Yeah right!" Natsu scoffed and was about to give him a good punch until he got smacked in the head by Erza. "Will you calm down you idiot?!" She glared.

Serves ya right. Gray thought.

"Juvia left but Lucy followed her to make sure she won't be gone..." Mirajane said appearing behind Gray.

"Drip, drip, drop." Juvia says repeatedly as she walk down the wet pavement while being secretly followed by Lucy. Juvia notices her presence and so she stop walking. "What do you want with Juvia?" She asked.

Lucy stepped out from her hiding spot, "No-nothing!" She stuttered with a panicked face.

"Then why are you stalking her?" Juvia asked defensively. "I'm not stalking! I'm following." Lucy shouted but Juvia didn't care.

"Will you stop," Juvia sighed, "or else Juvia will have to hurt you, whoever you are." She glares. Lucy flinched at Juvia's words and became depressed.

"..... Will you come back?" Lucy asked, clenching her skirt tightly as she shook. Wanting to cry so badly right now. But again, Juvia didn't care.

"Why?"

"Because!" Lucy flew her head up facing the water mage, "because.... You're my friend, our friend and a family back at the guild with master and everyone else!" She was pleading, "please come back..... We miss you...."

Lucy finally cried.

".... Lockser does not belong there.... That is not hers to own." Juvia said as she grips her umbrella tightly. "She does not exist there, but Juvia is."

"What do you mean?" Lucy asked in confusion. "I am not the Juvia you all know. She hid her very existence so that she cannot be hurt again. I, Lockser, was born to protect her and Juvia will not be hurt by anyone ever again." Juvia raised her voice.

Lucy became speechless, she didn't know what to say next. Juvia saw the sadness in her but she just walked away. Feeling nothing. No guilt, no sadness, no despair and no love.
