Not alone

"Zeref, please, stop this madness." Mavis pleaded but Zeref scoffed.

"What madness? My intentions are pure!" He said. "I just love the humans so much that I'm doing this for them!"

"What you're planning is killing them!"

"Well of course!" Zeref smiled, "to remove all the pain, I must start again from the beginning! The humans that will die today will live on the next life where pain doesn't exist anymore." He laughed maniacally.

"Why do you run?" Mavis asked. She looked at Zeref into his eyes with eyes full of sadness.

"I'm not running away!!!" Zeref denied. "Yes, you are!" Mavis shouted, surprising the immortal.

"What happened to the man I love? You were never like this...." She cried.

"Because you died! And you're just an illusion in my way!" Zeref used his magic and returned back to real world where he has saw that his one and only ally was now gone. Eis now wore, a violet top, black pants witha thick brown belt around his waist, black boots and wore a white long Jacket."

"Nooo!!!" He screamed and his magic began to leak out of his body.

"Everyone! Get down!" Natsu shouted as he lay himself down on the ground and they all followed. Zeref's power began to spread out shooting everywhere and luckily, no one got hit by it.

"Everyone," a voice echoed in the minds of every fairy tail members. "Please stop Zeref at all cost!"

No one knew who she was or where the voice even came from. They all looked at Warren but there was no woman or girl beside him. But Juvia knew who it was.

Zeref stopped shooting everywhere with his power but still leaked out of his body. Everyone stood up and Natsu was the first to attack. Once he came contact with Zeref, Natsu saw something in his eyes and he backed away. Natsu held his head in confusion and had no idea what's happening.

"Natsu!" Lucy ran beside him who was crouching. "What happened!?" She panicked since Natsu was feeling a great pain in his head. He couldn't respond and he began to sweat buckets.

"We shouldn't charge in carelessly!" Makarov said.

Those who can attack from a distance began firing but it didn't work. Every attack that entered Zeref's vicinity would disappear. Juvia watched this in horror and thought of the was really nothing that she could do. But then she noticed Zeref's expression. He was in pain and in despair.

Juvia recalled every memory of being Ozean and realised something. "Everyone, stop firing!" She demanded and they did.

"What's wrong?" Erza asked.

Juvia began to walk forward to Zeref. "Juvia! Stop!" They screamed but she didn't listen. She walked closer and closer to him until she was finally at his vicinity. Juvia took a deep breath but before she entered, Natsu grabbed her by the wrist.

"Please don't stop Juvia, Natsu." She asked but Natsu just grinned and said, "I'm not."

"Its dangerous to enter when he's like this, you will die in an instant" he said. "So you need me." He smiled childishly.

Juvia was confused but she nodded and both entered his vicinity. Natsu's white scarf turned black and Juvia can feel the strong power of Zeref. "Zeref." Juvia called.

"You're not alone..." She said as Natsu only watched on what was going on. "You only wanted someone to be with, right?" Juvia gave a lonely smile.

Zeref looked up at her and saw Natsu beside her. "Natsu...." He said as he looked down.

"You took Juvia and Gray-sama when we were in pain. You only wanted to help us." Juvia said. "But I can only kill!" Zeref shouted.

"The more I love the more I kill! All i can do is kill and kill!" He cried. "But that's the reason why you created me!" Natsu shouted making Zeref flinch.

Juvia was confused as well as the rest of the members, "you created me to kill you right? But I won't." He crossed his arms. "I ain't gonna kill my brother." He huffed.

"Brother!?!?" Everyone screamed in surprise.

"I thought you were found and raised by the dragon, Igneel!" Lucy said from afar. Natsu turned back and put on his usual stupid grin, "I just happened to remember!"

"But I just created you! We were never brothers by blood..." Zeref said. "Besides, I took many important things from you..."

"That doesn't matter!" Natsu said, "you were the first to call me your brother so we're brothers!" He grinned.

"Even though, you made Juvia and Gray-sama forget who we really are and made us evil, all you ever wanted was an ally, a family, right?" Juvia guessed as she gave a gentle smile. "Don't think you're alone, Zeref." She said.

"She is right," Mavis voice echoed throughout the room. "I may be just an illusion but my body is somewhere hidden and I am still alive." Mavis appeared beside Juvia and this time, everyone could see her.

"Th-the first master?!" Makarov screamed in surprise. And everyone else went , "EHHHH?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" Their eyes popping out.

"I know you never intended to kill me.... But I ensure you, my body is somewhere, alive." Mavis smiled assuringly.

"But-- you didn't breathe at all! You fell in my arms!" Zeref shouted. Mavis began to pout and said, "but we have the same curse right? If i had truly died then it just means my love for you wasn't as strong as yours. But since my spirit is here, I just fell into a deep slumber."

Juvia watched the two bicker into an argument in surprise while Natsu just laughed at how stupid their arguments were.   Zeref's power began to disappear into his body slowly without himself noticing. And slowly, Natsu's scarf began to return to its original colour.

"--- but, I'm sorry!" Mavis said finally, Zeref went silent and surprised. "I brought you pain and I misjudged you.... I regret regretting that I met you and fell in love with you..." Mavis clutched her dress and looked down. She couldn't face Zeref because she doubted her love for him.
