For hours and hours of walking up to the mountain, it continued to rain but not as strong as it is since Juvia was walking a bit farther than everyone else at the back. As for camping, Juvia didn't stay with them and went some place farther so that the team could rest in peace than getting soaked and dirtied with mud.

"Hey, Juvia," Lucy appeared from behind Juvia who sat down alone under the dark clouds where the moon cannot be seen. "Shy not sleep with us back at the camp?" She asked worriedly.

"Juvia does not want to trouble others." She answered as she looked up to the clouds.

"But, we're in a forest, a girl can't stat in it alone!" She stated.

"Juvia can protect herself."

"Yea but--!"

"Leave me alone!" Juvia made a wall out of the water, pushing Lucy back away. "...... Juvia."

Lucy walked back alone to the camp and was greeted by the team surrounding the camp fire. Lucy sat on the log beside Natsu and gave a heavy sigh. "What's wrong Luce?" He asked chewing on the cooked fish on a stick.

"Juvia pushed me away...." Lucy sighed again.

"Why did ya guys even let her go along with us?" Gray asked furiously biting his fish. "She knows, we know, that she's just causing us trouble." He huffed.

"What wrong with you?" Natsu asked getting slightly pissed. "What the hell happened with you?"

"You used to be kind and caring Gray." Erza said. "What made you become like this?" She asked, "rude and insulting." But Gray only responded with a deep sigh.

Gray went straight to his tent and laid about. He only stared up at the top of the tent thinking of nothing until Erza's words echoed in his mind repeatedly. He scratched his head and turned to the side with frustration.

Gray was so frustrated that he dozed off to sleep. Ur, what am I suppose to do?

Gray quickly opened his eyes, waking up immediately to the sounds of thunders roaring, lightning shot the trees, making it burn and fall. He quickly went out of the tent and woke everyone up in panic.

"Oi! Guys! Wake up!" Gray shouted.

"Nggh..... 2 more hours....." Natsu mumbled. Gray heard this and snapped, "2 more hours and we're burned to crisps!" He shouted.

Natsu's eyes immediately shot open to see the fires surrounding them. "Now's a good time to suck 'em up!!!!" Gray said as he held back the fires with his ice magic, to only just make it melt away.

Gray huffed in exhaustion and when Lucy and Erza came to aid their fellow friend, Lucy asked, "where's Juvia?!" urgently.

"I don't know..." Gray answered weakly. "Get Juvia and we'll take care of the fire" Erza ordered. The flames were now currently being sucked by the fire drag slayer, Natsu.

Lucy ran as fast as she could to Juvia. She huffed and puffed as she saw Juvia. "Who are you?" Juvia asked, Lucy froze before coming out from the trees. She unconsciously hid behind a tree.

"Come with me." A man said, "with you and I, the world shall be removed from all the pain that can hurt us!" Lucy took a small peek to see a man fully clad in black, his hair short and black as well but eyes red as blood. Zeref!

"If that is the case..." Juvia was about to take a step towards darkness until Lucy jumped out to stop her. "Don't go!" She said as she glared at Zeref.

"What do you want with Juvia?!" Lucy asked as she brought out a golden key, to prepare herself in case he attacks.

"I am simply inviting her to join me." Zeref answered, "to remove all that give pain to mortals in this world." He smirked.

"Pain can never be remove nor disappear!" Lucy shouted back making Zeref angry. "What do you know about pain? You've never felt pain of betrayal. Of being hated and exiled!" He shouted

"Pain is an obstacle that is meant to overcome." Lucy said softly. "No matter how much it hurts us, we need to move on and make a better future for ourselves instead of living a life being stuck in depression by the painful past."

Juvia knew Lucy has experienced pain somewhere, somehow. Lucy wanted to cry but she had to remain strong to protect her.

Juvia stepped beside Lucy, "Juvia will not go with a stranger." She said as Lucy gave a smile of relief.

"Well, I did expect you to reject my kind offer..." Zeref sighed, "then I'll just take you by force"

A swarm of black mist whirled around Juvia, and took her away. Lucy couldn't grab her hand and by the time she extend it fully, Juvia was gone as well as Zeref.
