so so so so sorry for the late update. I still don't have this story planned out prpoperly and I am just doing everything of the top of my head so sorry. I just hope this story isn't getting boring for you guys.

Zayn wanted to frame Liam's face right now; a blush that was furiously creeping up from his neck, wide brown eyes staring back at Zayn, and his lips shaped in an 'o' shape. Zayn had never seen someone look this cute and perfect before. 

"Y-You want to kiss me?" Liam stuttered out, his voice quiet. Zayn's hand that was holding onto Liam's, tightened slightly. 

"Yeah. I want to kiss you. Can I?" Zayn asked, he had no idea where all the confidence was coming from but it surprised him. Liam made him weak on his knees and he always felt nervous around him. 

"I-I guess" Liam mumbled as he ran a tongue over his lips, wetting them. Liam blushed deeper when he felt Zayn coming even more closer to him. He had no idea where Zayn's lips exactly where but he knew they were very near. 

Liam could smell Zayn; he smelt of cinnamon, warm vanilla sugar and smoke. Usually the smell of smoke would immediately put Liam off someone but with Zayn it was just different. Everything was different with Zayn. 

Liam felt Zayn's hand reach for his other hand and lace their fingers together, both of his hands were now entwined with Zayn's. Liam liked how Zayn's hands felt against his, all warm and comforting. He liked how Zayn's fingers fitted through his perfectly. 

It was like their hands were made for each other's and Liam couldn't help but grin wide at that.

"Can I?" Zayn's small whisper snapped Liam out of his thoughts. He could feel Zayn breathing on him now and how did he not notice that before?

Liam didn't say anything instead he nodded, a short shaky nod, his eyes closing shut.

"I am not going to hurt you" Zayn whispered and that's when Liam felt something rough touch his lips. He didn't realize it was Zayn's lips until Zayn's lips fell in place between his own. Zayn didn't move his lips at first, he just kept his lips against Liam's taking in the way they felt. 

Zayn didn't move until he felt Liam slowly tug at his hand. Zayn untangled one of his hands from Liam's and placed it on the younger boy's cheek instead as he slowly kissed the boy. Zayn made sure to kiss Liam as gently as he possibly could, scared that he would break the boy. 

Zayn felt like he was flying, the feeling of Liam's lips against his was a feeling he never felt before. He loved it. 

Zayn tugged on Liam's bottom lip, letting his teeth lightly sink into his lip before he pulled away, feeling breathless.

Liam's eyes slowly fluttered open, a smile of his face as he felt around for Zayn's other hand. Zayn grinned as he grabbed Liam's hand and laced their fingers together yet again.

"Wow" Zayn said as he pecked Liam's cheek.

Liam didn't know what to say so he just ducked his head down and blushed furiously. 

"We will work on the project tomorrow. It's getting late, I'll drop you at your house" Zayn said as he let go off Liam's hands and he packed everything up. 

They left the library and were now walking down the street, hands brushing against each other as they silently walked. They talked but not about the kiss. They just thought it would be better not to bring it up right now.

The kiss didn't really change anything between them, no awkwardness or anything.

Zayn smiled gently as he guided Liam up his stairs to his front door, their hands tangled together as they stood.

"Do you want me to open the door for you?" Zayn asked.

"No it's fine" 

"Okay then I'll see you tomorrow?" Zayn asked as he walked closer to Liam, who knew Zayn was coming closer because he could smell that cinnamon, warm vanilla sugar scent that he now loved.

Zayn squeezed Liam's hand before he leaned down to place a small peck on Liam's lips. 

"Bye" Zayn said as he let go off Liam's hands, not that he wanted to.

"Bye Zee" Liam said as he fiddled around for his keys, a small smile playing on his lips.
