Chapter 3; How Would You Know

I then walked in and saw everyone at a booth and someone was standing up, which I think is the waitress.

I reached the table and the waitress turns around...

Angelina P.O.V.
Before Black got to the Table

Huh. I just got to work but it's probably gonna be a slow day.

3 hours and 30 minutes later...

" I think I have to kill myself."

"You can't go that if I'm here."

Who said that as I turned around it was Cassie with a Jacob, Cassie boyfriend who was smiling just chilling.

"Cassie, what are you doing here? I literally just ate burritos at your house."

"Girl I'm hungry but I still wanted to see you girl and my children."

"Children, bro you got kids, since when?" Said a boy who appeared out of no where.

"Axel shut up and sit down with Jordan and we're talking about something else."

After that Jacob went to go sit with them at the booth while Cassie sat down too it we still kept on talking.

"Girl there at my aunts house having a play date, since I had to work but you can have them tomorrow since I'm working tomorrow."

"Li you always working come out with me."

" You know why and I got you on Friday. I need a break and that's why I'm about to turn up on Friday."

"Yass it's about to be lit but we need to go to Jacob's friend boxing match. Also these are Jacob friends Axel and Jordan but the one that's fighting on Friday is about to come."

"Oh cool I haven't been to one in a long time, but with that said can I take your order?"

But as I said that someone said
"You're the girl who punched me"

" What I nev- Oh it's you?"

" Yeah it's me, why would punch me in the face than leave me there?"

" Cause you were being a jerk also I don't care about you?"

"Okay, can you tell us what's happening " said Axel.

" Okay we were both at my siblings elementary and I was dropping of my siblings giving them kisses and wishing them good luck at school but then he bumps into me and didn't even apologize or say excuse me. So knowing me I don't take bullshit so I stopped him and said something then we got into an argument but I wasn't mad until he said he could use his money to buy me a new face. So I did the one thing I could think of which was to punch him in the face and I did that abs drove away. It was pretty funny he was just laying there with his mouth wide opening." I said.

" First off, that all happened but in my defense she didn't even talk to me politely like a lady." Black said.

" And so..." I said

" Didn't your parents teach you how to be polite"

" Wait-"Cassie said.

" No since Mr. High And Mighty thinks he knows everything. My parents died." I said with a straight face.

When I said that everyone stopped talking at the booth and turned there face into sorry faces beside Cassie since she knew but I didn't want to hear any sorry from anyone. So I just walked away and told Cassie I will call her later.

I then went to the bathroom to calm myself down. When in went in the bathroom I just prayed and washed my hands feeling tired. Coming out of the bathroom I saw a different waitress at Cassie table and thanked God. I went back to work mode and went to a different table.

"Hello, Welcome to The Diner. I am your waitress Angelina." Back to work.

1 hour later

Since my shift was almost over I took my break since everyone left but like three tables. As I got up to get my food Cassie and her friends were about to leave so I decided to say bye to them.

"Cassie, you gonna leave a bitch without a bye"

"Oh yeah I'm sorry I thought you would still be shaken up."

"Oh nah I'm cool. But with that said it was nice to see you again Jacob and it was nice meeting you Axel and Jordan I hope we meet again and on better conditions."

"Yah it was nice meeting you and you cool people. I believe we might be best friends since you punched Black in the face and I love people who don't take bullshit." Said Axel

" Awe thanks we can so be best friends also you have great style. Let me get your number." I said

" Don't forget me and I'm sorry about your parents." Jordan said

"It's cool you didn't know. But bye guys I have to get back at work."

I the turned around but I heard someone calling my name and it was Mr High and Almighty.

"What do you want?"

"I just wanted you to know that I'm sorry for what I said and for the other thing that I said before, it was childish of me."

"It's cool but how would you know, now bye."

That was funny but I went back to my break but I 10 o'clock I clocked out and drove home since the kids are having a sleepover. I then arrived home and changed into some pj and cleaned my home and got prepared for the tomorrow. I went to my bedroom and locking my doors and windows and started my homework. By 11:30 I have ate, cleaned and finished my homework I even called the troublemakers (siblings) to see how there were doing but they were sleeping. But now it's time to go to bed since I have no school but work earlier and a double shift. I then checked my phone and saw four text one fro Cassie saying goodnight since we always do that to each other. But the other three were unknown and the text was
This is Axel text me back if you get this text
This is Jordan, Cassie gave me your number
Hey I'm still sorry, I had to force Axel your number

So put there numbers in my phone as Axel, Jordan, Mr High and Mighty. But I'll text them all tomorrow since I'm really tired.

I turned off all my lights and prayed to God then went to bed.
