Brianna's POV:
It's my first day at school in Jacksonville, Florida. I am really nervous. I walk into the Principal's office.
"Hello you must be Ms. Piperman" the Principal says. Which is a man maybe in late 30's early 40's in a suit and about six feet tall.
"Yeah that's me" I say waving my hand a bit.
"Welcome to Nathaniel Johnson High School Ms. Piperman, I am Mr. Steinfield the Principal" he said.
When he said that all I could think about was my biological cousin Nathan Morris, who is older than me by a week. He and I used to hang out all the time until my dad killed my aunt. Nate's mom. My father got thrown in jail. Nate is my only family left, I was forced to move away from him when I was put in foster care. I miss him so much.
"Ms. Piperman" Mr. Steinfield says snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Yes" I reply.
"Your locker number is 248, its right down the hall across from the bathrooms. Here are your books, you can go put them in their then come back here so we can discuss you schedule" He says.
"Thank you Mr. Steinfield". I say as I grab my stuff and walk out of the office. I walk to my locker and see a boy with brown hair kissing a brunette. It appears that they are on top of my locker. I tap the boys on the shoulder.
"Sorry to interrupt you two but... wait I don't give a fuck. Get the hell off my locker" I say. They stop kissing, the girl walks away but the boy is still standing there. I look into his deep hazel eyes. "Are you going to stand there like an idiot or get out of my way" I say. He takes one step back without a word. "Thank you" I roll my eyes and open my locker put my books in then shut it. He is still there. I start to walk away but he grabs my arm spinning me back around.
"So you got a name" he asked.
"Yeah but I'm not telling you" I say and walk balk to the principal's office. But right before I walk in I look at him. Damn he is so cute.
Brianna don't think like that
I bite my lower lip then walk into the office.
"Ms. Piperman here is your schedule. Would you like a student guide to help you find your classes?" Mr. Steinfield says.
"Yeah that would be helpful" I say. He grabs the intercom.
In Caleb's class room
Caleb's POV:
Intercom: Excuse the interruption. Excuse the interruption. Caleb Beckum please report to the Principals office. Caleb Beckum please report to the Principals office. Thank you.
"OOHHH" The entire class says.
"What did you do this time Caleb" one of my team mates says.
"I don't know man. I guess I'll see you next period" I say getting out of my seat.
"You better watch it that's the fourth time this month, couch will bench you for the game and we need you" he says.
"I know. I know" I say grabbing my stuff and walking out of the classroom.
The Office
Brianna's POV:
I am sitting in the seat when i hear the door shut.
"Mr. Steinfield. My man. How ya doing" A familiar voice says.
"Good now Caleb I want you to meet our newest student Brianna Piperman. Brianna this is the Quarterback of our Football team, Caleb Beckum" Mr. Steinfield says. Caleb turns around my mouth drops open when I see his face. It's the locker kissing dude.
Oh Shit!
"Caleb I want you to show Brianna to all of her classes" Mr. Steinfield says.
"Aye! Aye! Captain!" Caleb says saluting.
"Now Caleb" Mr. Steinfield says. I grab my stuff and Caleb holds the door open.
Kill me now.
"No funny business Caleb." Mr. Steinfield says as we walk out.
"Let me see you're schedule" Caleb says.
"Here" I say handing the piece of paper to him.
"So Brianna Piperman" he says.
"What do you want Caleb" I say annoyed
"Piperman. Piperman. Piperman. Piper..." Caleb says pronouncing Piperman a million times.
"Can you just show me to all my classes so I never have to see your ugly face ever again" I yell cutting him off. Ugh. Could this day get any worse?
"There might be one slight problem with that" he says. Oh boy.
"What is it" I say trying to hold back my anger.
"I might have a couple classes with you" he says.
"A COUPLE" I yell.
"Okay. I lied...." he says.
"Oh thank God" I say in relief putting a hand on my chest.
"You didn't let me finish. I did lie but you do... and I am not lying about this one. You have all the same classes as me" he said.
"WHAT" I yell.
Spoke too soon, dammit.
Hey guys I hope you like the first chapter as much as i did. This is the intro. When she meets Caleb. There is more to come in the next chapter.
