CHAD'S POV:
"i'd love to watch whatever it is that is going on here but can someone tell me what the hell am i doing at Blake's place"i heard a voice say and quickly snapped my head in the direction of the sound.
i could not believe my eyes.
Brianna is awake.
BRIANNA IS AWAKE!!!!
"oh my god thank god you are alive and up" i said and ran by her side and engulfed her into a hug.
"uh i'm sorry do i know you"
at that moment i felt like i could hear my heart breaking into a million pieces again.
"remember i'm chad. i'm your-"
"foster brother. yeah. we never met because you were always at football practice" brianna said cutting me off.
"oh my god i can't believe i forgot about that. now i look like a crazy person, i am so sorry brianna" i said
"i hate to break this up, but chad i need a few minutes alone with brianna. i tell you when you can come back in and i'll catch her up on everything" Ryker said.
"okay" i said leaving the room. i ran into Nate in the hallway.
"hey is everything ok in there" he asked.
"uh yeah brianna is awake but Ryker wanted to talk to her alone and he said he would catch her up on everything" i said.
"she is gonna be so pissed at me"he said
"why is that"
"it's a long story that i'll have to tell you another time, plus you need brianna's trust.she won't just tell anyone."
"ok i'll just have to gain her trust. i mean how hard can that be" i asked.
"oh it's very hard took Dylan a year to gain her trust and they were really close when they first met each other" Nate said. "i'm gonna go run some errands you need anything"
"not that i can think of but i'll text you if i come up with something"
"ok i'll see you in like an hour. text me if anything changes with brianna" nate said doing the bro hug.
"you got it." i said walking to the living room with the rest of the group.
BRIANNA'S POV:
"so you wanna tell me what the hell you are doing here and why is my foster brother in Blake's house. does he know" i asked Ryker
"Wow you sure do ask a lot of questions. Do i have to have a reason to visit my favorite 17 year old" Ryker replied.
"I'm hooked up to a machine in Blake's house, Chad shouldn't even know the existence of this place so explain Anderson" I said pissed off.
"is it shark week for you piperman cause that's not how you should be acting to the person that's incharge of pumping drugs into your system" he replied with a smirk
"if my dad heared what you were saying right now to his daughter... well you know what would happen.
"he's in jail right now so..." ryker says trailing off.
"you know damn well that wouldn't stop him" i say and ryker smiles
"god damn i missed our arguments" he said and came up to hug me. i hugged him back
"i missed you too ryker, its just i don't want to end up like my dad that's why i left" i said letting go of our hug to look him in the eyes. " that's why im upset im here cause everytime i come to one of property's shit happens and well you get it"
"i totally get it but i don't think it's going to be easy to get out of this life considering you were born into it, but always remember that me, Blake, and the rest of the gang will be there for you, especially Nate, Dylan,Blake, and i" he said.
"so do you think now is a good time to tell me what shit we are in this time" i asked.
"good news or bad news first" he asked.
"good news please"
"ok so the good news is that you are still alive. that's all the good news. the bad news is that chad isn't the only one that is here" he said.
"who else is here" i say putting my hands to my face dreading for what bad news i am about to hear.
"so obviously nate and dylan are here too but thats besides the point cause they already know"
"wait nate is here" i said lifting my head away from my hands
"you didn't know, yeah, he was the one who called me actually. so besides chad, dylan, and nate, there is caleb, caleb's younger sister, scarlet, and katelyn" he said.
"why the hell did they have to be all here" i asked
"oh funny story, they kinda stole you from the hospital and chad came up with this big plan because the social worker was going to take you away from Katy and chad because of this rule for foster kids and they wouldn't just let it go cause your a still a minor even though you'll be 18 in a couple weeks" he rambled.
"they were all involved?"
"yes. Nate was the get away driver, Scarlet,Dylan, and Katelyn were the distractions so that Chad and Caleb could get you out of the room" Ryker explained. "Nate told them they all had to stay here until it was safe
"no one followed you or them right?" i asked
"no one followed me, and Nate was driving them so i'll go with no one followed them either"
"can i talk to Nate" i asked
"he left and said he would be back later but i can go get Dylan"
"OK" i said as Ryker walked out and seconds later Dylan walked in with a smile
"hey there bestie" he said.
"come here" i said and he sat in the chair next to the bed.
"closer" he moved so that he was standing next to the bed.
"closer" he sat on the bed.
i slapped him upside the head and he starting rubbing it immediatley
"OW! what the hell was that for" he said.
"you know exactly what that was for dumbass" i said glaring at him.
"it's not my fault, you should be hitting Caleb in the back out the head not me" Dylan claimed.
"well you could have stopped that fight, but you didn't and now you just dragged four people into a world that is dangerous" i claimed.
"well I've known them for awhile now so they can be prepared for everything except chad he must've got here after i left but he came up with the plan to get you here so we can hold it off on them as long as possible but at some point you are going to have to tell them" he said.
"i know, but let's hope that is far from now. i already had to drag you into my mess" i said and looked at my lap. Dylan grabbed my face with his hands and looked deeply into my eyes
"hey, hey, don't be sad. it wasn't your fault and if i remember correctly i was being a dick and forced it out of you. so this time that will not happen because if anyone pressures you i will gladly beat the shit out of them" Dylan said as i giggled.
"see that's the brianna i love to see, we will get through this i promise" Dylan said as he kissed my forehead.
