Chapter 5: Only The Beggining Part 2

BRIANNA'S POV:

It's been 15 minutes of me trying to get Caleb and Dylan off of each other. It was not working what so ever. Their faces were covered in blood. Now Caleb is on top of Dylan. I tried one last time and pushed Caleb off of Dylan. I felt a horrible pain in my right jaw and found myself on the floor. The boys were still fighting. Did they not see me get punched in the face or something? I looked at them fighting. Then everything went black.

NATHAN'S POV:

I decided to come to Jacksonville to surprise Brianna. I grabbed my phone and called Katelyn. Yes I know Katelyn. I became friends with Dylan over Instagram while he was still Michael. I came here because he got dumped and got all pissed. Someone needed to calm him down. That's where I met Katelyn and Caleb. Yes I met him to. They told me the story of why Dylan was acting the way he was acting. A week later he showed up at my place saying he was expelled. I never talked to Caleb because Dylan would get pissed. Every once in a while I would talk to Katelyn because Dylan was distracted by Brianna. Thank you Brianna.

"Hello" she answered.

"Hey Katelyn its Nate. I'm in town and looking for Brianna do you know where I can find her" I ask.

"She was meeting at the park with Caleb to meet someone. Why?" she asked.

"Shit. You need to get here now" I say putting a hand through my hair.

"What's wrong Nate you're scaring me" she said worried.

"I didn't think she would actually do it. Nate is all your fault you should've told her what happened last time" I say.

"Nate what are you talking about. You're starting to scare me" she said in a worried tone.

"She's going to meet with Dylan" I say. "It's Michael he changed his name to Dylan"

"Dammit! I knew he would come back. We need to stop them. Caleb might actually die this time" she said. oh did I forget to tell you the last time Caleb and Dylan got into a fight they both landed in the hospital Dylan was out in a couple of days, but Caleb on the other hand landed in a coma and almost died.

"Especially if Brianna's there she has suffered too much pain and if she gets punched they won't give a damn" I say.

"OK I'll be their shortly. Start looking for them." she says and hangs up.

I keep walking until I hear a bunch of commotion coming from an alley. I walk near it and see two guys fighting and a blonde girl trying to pull them apart. She pushes one of the guys off as he is throwing a punch that ends up hitting her. As she hits the floor I realize it was Brianna trying to get Caleb off of Dylan.

Shit

I ran up to Brianna and she was out cold. Anger fills up inside me I get up and push Caleb and Dylan off of each other.

"What the hell is wrong with you guys do you not see Brianna past out on the floor" I yell.

"Just let me at him Nate. It's his fault she is in that condition" Dylan says. I slap him. Hard.

"Listen to your self you sound like a five year old" I yell at him.

"I'm sorry man you know how I am" Dylan said.

"Now get the hell out of here and please put your differences aside we don't want anyone getting hurt" I say pointing out Brianna.

"let me take her home" Dylan said.

"No I got this I didn't come here for you I came here to spend time with my cousin" I said picking up Brianna bridal style

"You sure you got this Nate. What about last time" he said.

"Yes Dylan I got this I'll give you a call if I need you" I said as Dylan walked away.

"Can you tell her I'm sorry for punching her? It was an accident" Caleb says.

"Yeah. Nice seeing you again" I say.

"Yeah it's been a while. Well I got to go catch up with the guys so later "he said.

"Later" I said.

On my way to Brianna's house I saw Katelyn.

"Hey Katelyn" I said.

"Oh my god what happened." she said seeing Brianna.

"They got into a fight. Caleb punched her. But don't worry no one dead. Just one pasted out" I said.

"That's good I was so worried" she says.

"Listen I got to get her back to her house so I'll have to talk to you later" I say. We said our good-byes and continued on walking

I finally got to her house it toke forever. I walked in.

"Hello... Katy" I say.

"Who is it" Katy ask walking into the room "oh my gosh what happened" she says looking at Brianna.

"She tried to stop a fight and got punched by mistake" I say. "But don't worry I'll take care of her"

"And you are..." she asks.

"I'm Nathan. I am Brianna's..."

"Cousin" she cuts me off. "She talks about you a lot. Why is that? ... I mean I never had a cousin like that" she says.

"It's simple. I and Brianna have been through a lot of crap. Both of our parents are dead. Well except her dad. But he's dead to her. We've been through every horror there is. You name it. But the worst of the worst was when her dad killed my mom. Her dad was sent to jail. I went to my grandparents from my father's side. There was no one left to take her in. my family didn't want two teenagers living in their house again. That's how she ended up here. We've never been separated before. We are kind of like twins except not" I say.

"Wow that sucks" she says.

"Yep. Her getting punched in the face is the least of our problems" I say.

I wish all this drama would just disappear. I thought my mother's death would be the death of me. Man was I wrong. now i have a feeling that my mothers death is going to be the beginning of a whole new chapter.
