Jewel phone ring in a distance. She rolled over and got out the bed to look for her phone. She found on the other side of the room, on Kj dresser.

"Hello....what? When?...no I'm not in Washington, I'm in South Carolina....yes Jade Bree Bree with me....I'm on the first plane there...love you too." Jewel said as she shook her head. She couldn't stopped the tears from falling.

She started packing her clothes. She wrote KD a letter and went to wake Bree and Craig up.

"Bree we have to go. My dad had a heart attack." Jewel said as tears fall out her eyes.

Bree jumped up, and hug Jewel to her as she cried.

Bree woke up Craig up.

"Have you told KD?" Bree whispered to Jewel.

"No he needs to be with his family right now." Jewel said.

"How we going to get to the airport?" Bree asked.

"Shit, I didn't think about that. Ugh." Jewel said.

Craig got his things together.

"Jewel you should tell KD." Bree said. "He can be there for you."

"No Bree. We have to go." Jewel said.

Bree left it alone, when Jewel get something in her head. No point in try to talk to her about it.

Jewel look up the cab service number. She found it, and called them.

"You guys have everything?" Jewel asked.

"Yes." Bree said and Craig nodded.

They walked downstairs quietly as possible. What they didn't know was the alarm was on. As soon as Jewel turn the knob the alarm went off.

"Oh shit, we dead." Bree whispered. Soon enough four guns was pointed at them.

Kenny, Sky, Keenan, and KD all hold guns in their hands.

"What the hell! Y'all was dead within seconds." Kenny said.

"Where y'all going?" KD asked, his eyes focused on Jewel.

"They been bout to get blow away." Keenan said and walked upstairs.

"Man I been ready to kill something." Sky mumbled and walked away with Kenny behind her.

"So you was just about to leave me?" KD asked Jewel hurt in eyes.

"No my dad in the hospital and I didn't want to wake you up." Jewel said.

"Really Jewel? Is this what we doing now? You could have told me, I could have go with you." KD shook his head and walked away from her.

"You need to be with your family though KD. You all need to be with each other." Jewel said hoping he understand.

"You my family too J. You think I been lying when I said I wanted you in my life?" KD turned around and looked her in her eyes.

Jewel couldn't say anything.

"KD I don't have time to get into this with you right now. I have a cab waiting on me." Jewel said.

"Alright bye." KD said and walked away from her.

Jewel stare after him until she swallows hard and walked out the house, with Bree and Craig behind her.

"You hurt him Jewel without even trying." Bree said.

"I know." Jewel said as fresh tears filled her eyes.

Ky'Lek cries as KD hug him close. He couldn't get him to stop crying for nothing. Sky had to come in the room to try to calm him down, which didn't work either.

"Call Jewel." Sky said and hand Ky'Lek back to KD and walked out the room.

KD didn't called Jewel he gave Ky'Lek and bottle and his pacifier. That didn't work either. After Ky drink his bottle he spit the pacifier out, and started back crying. Guess he really got to call Jewel, even though he didn't wanted too. She probably wasn't on the plane yet.

Jewel answered on the first ring. He told her Ky wouldn't stop crying, so KD put the phone on speaker and let Jewel talk to Ky. Ky stopped crying and KD hang up the phone in Jewel face. He put Ky back to sleep and he went to sleep too. He have a long drive back home.

He was really pissed off at Jewel for leaving him, and wasn't going to tell him she was leaving. That's wrong right? He knew she had a reason in leaving, but she still could have told him she was leaving. That was a fuck up move on her part.

Hours on the plane Jewel was back in the Bronx New York.

"I didn't miss this place at all." Bree said.

Craig looked around at the buildings. He was never out the state of Washington.

"Do you want me to come to the hospital with you, or you got it?" Bree asked Jewel ask she tried flagging down a taxi.

"Please come with me, I don't want to do this by myself." Jewel said.

Jewel was tripping off KD hanging up on her. Okay she know that he mad, but he don't have to act like an ass. That was very rude.

They arrive at the hospital, and Jewel rushed to the room her father was in. When she walked in, all her siblings was in there. Seeing her dad with the tube in his mouth, broke her heart. She broke down again, in Bree arms.

"When did this happen?" She asked when she got herself together.

"He was sick for a while, since you left for college. You knew he didn't want you to go there on your own, but you wanted to be grown." Her older brother snapped at her.

Jewel glared at him.

"Don't you dare put this on me. I'm doing what's best for me, I maybe the baby, but I deserve to make my own decisions." Jewel said.

"Yeah and with your decisions dad in the hospital fighting for his life. Your ass not even at school. You out being a hoe in another state." Her brother yelled at her.

Jewel glared at her brother.

"Cut it out, both of you." Their mother said. "Jon you out of line. She's grown she can do what she wants."

Jewel walked up her dad side and grab his hands.

"I'm coming home dad. I'll change schools. I'm coming back home."

Should Jewel go back home and be with her family? Or stay in Washington to complete her studies?
