KD, Jewel, and Ky'Lek was now on there way to New York a week later.

"I hope your pops like me." KD said as he rubbed Jewel thigh.

Ky'Lek was sleeping in the backseat.

"He will. I hope." Jewel mumbled.

"See man, even you hope." KD shook his head.

Jewel laughed.

"Things will go good. It's just my older brother that will give you a hard time." Jewel said.

"Nigga bet not come in my face, with no bullshit." KD warned Jewel.

"He won't, I hope." Jewel said.

"You always hoping something,, his ass bet not start shit with me, J." KD said.

Jewel just rolled her eyes. What was she going to say?

"You over there rolling your eyes and shit, but wont say anything." KD shook his head.

"Why you getting all loud? Damn if you don't say anything to him he wont say anything to you." Jewel.

"I wont say nothing to the nigga , I don't know him." KD said.

"Good." Jewel said folding her arm.

KD shook his head. They didn't said anything for awhile, until Jewel started snapping on snapchat, saying little slick shit in her snaps.

"Keep on watch I throw that damn phone out the window." KD said as Jewel laughed.

"I wish a nigga would." Jewel said as she snapped him mugging her camera.

"Keep playing with me, bend your ass over this steering wheel." KD smirked at her. Jewel blushed as she looked away. She would like that.

"How, Ky'Lek in here." She said.

"He sleep though, plus he facing away from the front of the car."

"People will see us though." Jewel said.

"We can give them a show." KD smirked at her.

"You not funny, and that's not funny." Jewel said.

"Then why I laughing?" KD did a fake laugh.

"Ugh I don't like you." Jewel said.

"Well as long as you love me, I don't care if you don't like me." KD shrugged his shoulders.

Jewel used her key to enter her parents house, with KD behind her holding Ky. She hope her parents don't make such a big fuss of KD being a single father and she somewhat helping take care of Ky. She love that little boy like he was her own.

"Mom, dad, I'm home!" Jewel yelled out. She walked farther into the house and saw Jade in the living room.

"Hey J, what you doing? Oh you brought company." Jade said as she eyed KD with Ky in his arms.

"Hey Jade, this my boyfriend Kendrick and his baby Ky'Lek, KD this is my sister Jade." Jewel introduced them.

"He's so skinny." Jade said looking at KD up and down. "Boy where is your meat?" Jade asked KD who looked at Jewel who bite back a smile.

Jewel mom and dad entered the living room.

"Hello Jewel whose your guests?" Jewel mother Fatima asked.

"This is my boyfriend Kendrick and his son Ky'Lek, Kendrick meet my parents Mr. and Mrs. Grams." Jewel introduced them, as Jade looked on with interested to see what her parents going to say.

"Nice to meet young man." Jonathan said, shaking KD free hand.

Jewel sighed in relief, as Jade looked at her dad shocked.

KD met all Jewel family, and happy none of them gave him cold shoulder, not even her brother Jon. He just stayed away from the couple.

Now KD and Jewel is at a hotel, her parents didn't believe in shacking up, if they weren't married.

"Your family is cool, I like them." KD said as he and Jewel laid in the bed at the hotel.

"Yeah they are and can be loud when we all get together. I'm surprise Jon didn't said anything to you." Jewel said.

KD chuckled then burst out laughing.

"Oh he wanted too. I gave him one of them looks my uncle C always gave us when we would be bad when we was younger. Make ya have the hush mouth." KD said.

"Oh wow. Let me see the look." Jewel looked in KD face.

"Nah you have to do something to make me mad." KD said.

Jewel started thinking. Out of no where, she pulled KD twisted.

"Ouch what the fuck?!" He yelled out, then glared at Jewel.

"Ooh that look is scary." Jewel said and burst out laughing.

KD rubbed his now sore head , and continue to glared at Jewel.

"That shit hurt." He said.

"Sorry, I couldn't think of nothing else to do." Jewel said as she smiled at him.

Jewel laid back against her pillow, and yawned.

"Oh well, back home tomorrow." Jewel said. "After we go to church and have Sunday dinner with my family, of course."

"Of course." KD said.

The next day after church KD and Jewel sat at the dining table with Jewel family.

"Kendrick what do you do for a living?" Jonathan asked KD.

"Right now, I'm working at a plant in Washington DC." KD answered back.

"Is the mother of your child still around?" Jonathan asked again.

"No sir she's not. I have full custody of my son." KD replied back.

"Oh that's good. I see your son is very attached to my baby girl over there."

Jewel wanted to know where was this conversation going.

"Yes sir I know that. She's the only woman he's actually attached too. Yeah my family is around, and help out when they can, but when he see your daughter, she's all he want." KD answered truthful.

Jonathan nodded his head.

"Jewel you like playing mommy to someone else's baby?" Jon asked his sister.

All eyes went to Jon.

"I am not playing mommy, I'm just there in his life. I know I am not his mother, it's not even about that." Jewel glared at her brother.

"I'm just saying, what happens when he drop you, and get someone who isn't still a child? Someone who is more mature?" Jon smirked.

"Jonathan Jr., that is enough!" Jonathan snapped. "You will not disrespect your sister like that. Apologize."

Jon looked at his dad, and stood up from the table.

"I will do no such thing. Family let's go." Jon said, as his family got up from the table and left.

"Sorry for my son behavior, he is the jealous one of the family." Fatima apologize for Jon behavior.

KD just nodded.

After Sunday dinner, and laughs and talks around the dining table KD and Jewel was getting ready to go.

"Take care my daughter. I can see that you really care about her. Welcome to the family." Jonathan hugged KD.

"Thank you sir, and I will. " KD nodded his head, as picked Ky'Lek car seat up, and walked outside, as Jewel talk to her family.
