Jewel leaned against the bathroom counter and smiled at KD in the mirror.

KD winked at her, and went to turn on the shower.

Jewel and KD is in the living room watching reruns of Martin when Jewel bring up going to see her parents.

"My dad wants to meet you." Jewel said to KD.

"That can be arrange. When?" KD looked at her.

"I start work and school tomorrow so I guess we can go this weekend." KD said.

"Okay that's fine, Craig dropping out of Howard. He talked to Cory and Cory going to get him working with y'all too. He going to take classes online." Jewel said.

"That's good, for him. I like dude. He a lil quiet, but he cool." KD said.

"Nobody wild like you and your family." Jewel laughed.

"Grew up that way, my parents didn't care what we do, as long as we respect them, we basically could do anything we wanted too." KD said.

"Wow, I wish my parents was that way." Jewel said.

"Hell no, girl don't you ever wish that. My brother and sister, cousin, and auntie., man we use to fight each other everyday. Well not me and Cory, or Crystal. Us three got along good." KD said.

"You and brother look like y'all don't have a good relationship." Jewel said.

KD shook his head sadly.

"Nah we don't. We brothers, but we don't get along like that. Yeah we would have each other back, or whatnot? But nah, Keen and I never really had the brother relationship. I was always picking on him, because he's so quiet. But it turn out he's bipolar, that's why he keeps to his self so he won't hurt nobody." KD said.

"Dang, so your uncle bipolar too?" Jewel asked.

KD laughed.

"Nah uncle C just crazy, with no filter. He's always been that way. He just don't care about anything." KD said.

"Dang. Wow, it seem like you all have been through so much." Jewel said sadly.

"Yeah, but we always overcome it as a family. Hell me, umm, my mom told me, I was molested when I was a baby. I was kidnapped." KD said.

"Oh no, I'm so sorry that happen to you." Jewel said and hug him close to her.

"It's cool. It was a good thing I didn't remember any of that." KD chuckled , then shook his head.

Jewel didn't know what to say. She just remain quiet.

"Sorry I dropped that on you like that. That wasn't my intentions." KD looked at her.

"It's okay. I'm just in shock that's all." Jewel said.

"No need to be. That don't change who I am. I am still Kendrick Davis Jr." KD said.

Jewel laughed.

"I know that Kendrick." Jewel snapped.

"No need for you to snap my head off." KD said.

"Ugh. Whatever. I'm hungry." Jewel said.

"Let go out to eat. What you in the mood for?" KD asked her.

"A steak." Jewel said.

"That can be arrange. Let's go get dressed." KD said.

Thirty minutes later KD and Jewel was sitting down in a Steakhouse.

"This place is pretty." Jewel said.

"It's straight. I've seen better." KD smirked.

"Yeah right." Jewel laughed at him.

A waitress came up and take their drink order. She introduced herself as Nessa.

"I'll have Sprite." Jewel said.

"I'll have a Dr. Pepper." KD said.

"Okay I'll be back with your drinks shortly." Nessa said and walked away.

Jewel and KD talked among theirselves. Until Nessa came back with their drinks.

"Let me know when you guys ready to order." Nessa said to them.

"We ready." KD and Jewel said at the same time.

They placed their order and Nessa walked away from the couple again.

"Thank you for this." Jewel smiled at him.

"You know I got cha." KD said, as he pulled out his cell phone. "J?" He called Jewel name, as soon as she looked at him he snapped the picture. "Nice." He laughed.

"Oh my gosh, you caught me off guard." Jewel covered her mouth.

"It still sexy, look." KD showed her his phone.

Jewel studied the picture.

"No it don't KD, look at my eyes!" Jewel said.

KD looked at the picture, and burst out laughing.

"Nothing wrong with your eyes." He said. "This going to be my screensaver." KD said.

Jewel rolled her eyes, just as the Nessa came back with their food.

They ate and enjoy each other company.
