KD and Jewel got their food and started eating.

"What do we have to talk about?" Jewel asked him.

KD stopped eating and stared at her.

"You know I like you right?" KD started.

"Yeah I know." Jewel said.

"I want to be with you." KD said looking in Jewel eyes. "Despite the age difference, and that you have a lot of shit going for yourself and I have nothing. I hope you feel the same way about me." KD said.

"KD you only 23." Jewel said. "And I do feel the same way about you." Jewel smiled.

"I did some shit in my past I'm not proud of. I lied, I steal, I killed. What ever you name I did that shit." KD said.

Jewel was a little scared about him killing somebody, but she tried not to show it.

"Even though my family call me soft, hell I am, but at the same time, a nigga not going to step to me, and think I'm going to let shit slide." KD continue.

Jewel listen patiently.

"As you can see I'm a single father raising my son on my own. No doubt I still feel some type of way about Dasha about that shit, but I will not take that out on you. So like I said before I'm feeling you, I want to be with you. Me driving all the way down here, should prove that to you. I just need to know, will you still be by me when shit get tough. I won't be a easy nigga to get along with, but I'll be your nigga though." KD said laughing.

"I'm a faithful ass nigga. I don't do that cheating shit. I'm yours, and you mine. Well I hope you be mine, you haven't said shit yet." KD said.

"You not giving me time to say anything though." Jewel said. "And I did said I feel the same way about you."

KD nodded his head.

"So after all that I just told you, you don't feel no type of way?" He asked her.

"I mean yeah I'm spooked out, and a little scared. But I know you would hurt me." Jewel said honestly.

"No need to be scared. I got more shit to tell you too, but I'll save that for another time, a little more private time." KD said.

Jewel nodded.

They ate their food in silence.

"I'm full." Jewel said looking down at her food.

"Nobody tell you to be greedy. Eating off my plate too. Just greedy." KD said.

"No I'm not, I'm just a growing girl. Do you see me." Jewel said.

KD smirked.

"Oh I see you alright." KD looked at her.

"Let's go to the park." Jewel said as they made their way to KD car.

"What park." KD open the door for her.

He walked around to the driver side and got in.

"Meridian Hill Park." Jewel said.

"Where the hell that at?" KD asked.

"I don't know. That what gps for." Jewel said and laughed out loud at KD face.

"Alright keep that shit up." KD laughed with her.

"Blah." Jewel said.

They arrive at the park, and got out.

KD grab Jewel hand as a group of boys walked by, they wave at Jewel.

"You know them or something?" KD asked her.

"Yeah they go to the college with me." Jewel said.

"Hmmm." KD said and remain quiet.

Jewel looked at him.

"What that's supposed to mean?" Jewel asked him.

"Nothing ma." KD said and they left it alone.

"Wow that's cute." Jewel said. Preferring to the waterfall.

"It's straight." KD replied dryly.

Jewel looked over at him and shake her head.

"You serious right now?" She asked him.

KD looked down at her.

"What?" KD said.

"That dry ass 'it's straight.'" Jewel said.

KD laughed.

"Oh you big mad huh?" KD said.

"Don't play with me KD." Jewel said.

"Can we enjoy the walk, without you being mad? You know how you can get." KD said to Jewel

"I know you not talking. You got mad at me because I took so long to call you back because I was in the shower." Jewel said to KD.

"It don't take a hour and a half. To wash your ass." KD said.

"Really KD?" Jewel shook her head.

"Hell yeah." KD said.

"Whatever. You be getting mad over the dumbest things." Jewel said.

"Not in my eyes they not. KD said.

"Get some new damn eyes then." Jewel said.

"I know you not talking, you got mad at me because I been talking to my family, while I been on the phone with you." KD said.

"Right, you suppose to be talking to me not them, you call me just to talk to them? Oh no sir." Jewel said.

KD pulled Jewel in front of him, as they continue to walk.

He kissed her cheek.
