Chapter Fourteen

Lilly's POV

"It came from over there!"

"We need to get out of here, now!"

"No! This is our chance!"

"We aren't prepared, we need to go!"

"WHERE THE HELL IS JORDANNE!" I interrupted everyone yelling back and forth.

Everyone went kinda quiet and looked around. "Oh no." Dylan said quietly.

"WHAT IF SHE WAS EXPLODED BY THE WITHER?" I yelled.

"Calm down." Bayani said. "Let's go look over there, okay? How about, you, me, and Dylan go over to where we heard the explosion and everyone else can take cover somewhere else." He offered.

I nodded. "Okay, let's go."

We ran over to where the explosion was heard and started searching around.

"Jordanne!" I started to call.

"Shh, we don't want to attract another wither." Bayani said.

"I'd rather find Jordanne right now." I told him.

He nodded. "Dylan, where did you go?" Bayani asked.

"Found them!" Dylan's voice echoed.

"Them?" Bayani and I asked as we started walking to his voice.

"Yeah, looks like Ryan found Jordanne before we did." Dylan laughed a bit and we walked around the corner to see Ryan and Jordanne just sitting there. And a wither robot just a few feet away.

I looked and Jordanne, and she smiled. "You can't yell at me." She said.

"Well why in the hell not?" I rolled my eyes at her.

"Because you left without anyone knowing too." She said.

"I was with two other people- plus, we had our weapons!" I said to her, but I didn't yell.

"So, I've got Ryan here." She shrugged.

"Speaking of that, Ryan, why are you here? Alone, nonetheless?" Bayani piped up.

"Well, you see," Ryan started as he stood up. "Soon after Rae and Amelia arrived, we decided to continue on with our mission, which resulted in a few injuries, and I got separated from the group." He rubbed the back of his neck.

"So, you're alone then?" I asked, and he just simply nodded.

"Well, we should all get back to home base- everyones kinda freaked out." Dylan said and we all agreed.

"We gotta track down that mother with sooner than later." I added.

"What." Bayani said to the annoying Jordanne.

But alas, Jordanne didn't respond, she just continued to poke him and say "Bayani" over and over.

You could tell he was trying to ignore it, but it wasn't working. "Jordanne, if you don't stop, I'm gonna murder you."

She crossed her arms and pouted a bit. "You're no fun."

"I know." Bayani replied.

"This is, like, so boring." I heard Parker complain.

"I know right!" Jordanne agreed.

"But we do need to at least get this wither takeover done with." H said.

"H has a point there." Stacy agreed.

"I'm with Jordanne and Parker on this one." Graser said. "We should take a break and let off some steam."

"I think we should keep going." Tomahawk said.

Ricardo made a wither noise and flew over to Jordanne. "See, even Ricardo agrees with us."

"Well, Chubby and Swirly agree that we should keep going." Tomahawk defended.

"Oh, really?" Jordanne said and looked at the people on her team. "What if I just- oops." She smiled 'innocently' as she scooped up some mud off the ground and hit Tomahawk right in the chest.

"Seriously?" He said. "Alright, you wanna play dirty, we'll play dirty." And Tomahawk threw some mud and hit Jordanne in the stomach.

Jordanne looked at her team. "Attack!" And everyone- minus Bayani, Dylan, Ryan and I started to scoop up mud and throw it in various places.

"Well, what do we do now?" Bayani looked towards me.

I shrugged. "Have fun." But what he didn't see coming is when I scooped up some mud off the ground, and his him right on the cheek with a little bit of mud.

"I'm on Tomahawk's team!" I called out.

"Looks like I'll be joining Jordanne's so I can get revenge on you!" Bayani yelled.

"Wow, even though you hate her?" I asked and put a hand over my heart and he just smiled. I threw more mud at him.

"I'm with Bayani!" Dylan yelled and Ryan ran over next to me.

I aimed to surprise attack Jordanne and ended up hitting her hair, and she turned around so fast, with death in her eyes.

"You are so gonna pay for that." She said, looking me straight in the eyes.

She bent down and picked up a giant handful of mud, and went to throw it.

Luckily, I moved out of the way just in time. But Ryan- he wasn't so lucky. He turned around to hear why Jordanne was yelling and ended up getting a face full of mud.

Jordanne looked shocked, and probably felt horrible. Ryan just nodded and said "do it."

Bayani smiled and pushed Jordanne down into the dirt, getting it all over both himself and Jordanne. It was so funny- and I really wish I had a camera to record it with.

Maybe it was a good idea to stop for a little bit and have some fun, because this is the best thing that's probably happened since the headquarters blew up.
