Chapter 7

[Flamefur's POV]

"What do you mean they never came back?!" I hissed outraged toward Lionsun and Summerstripe.

Metalclaw was on my right and Shinyfall was on my left with Cheetahpelt on the other side of her. We were all hissing at each other because Aquapaw and Tinypaw had never came back from their hunting and Shinyfall and me being shecats were very outraged and needed to take it out on someone. So we decided to do it on the mentors since they could of been looking out for our kits. In our minds, they were the reason they were gone.

"We mean that they never came back. We sent them out at high sun and they said they would be back by sunset just like all the other apprentices. They never showed up." Lionsun hissed back at us. She was the older of the two.

"Don't you think they just forgot what time it was and kept hunting?" Cheetahpelt asked trying to be reasonable like he always was.

"No! They would of come back. Tinypaw knows to come back. She would be back. Can we track her? We can always go get Creampaw since her senses would be better.. Or we can get Nugget. A fox must have a better sense of smell then us." I tried to stay calm but it seemed impossible.

I felt Metalclaw's cold tail on my shoulder and I slouched down a little. I couldn't loose one of my kits. They were mine and I didn't want to loose them. Not yet at least. Not until they were warriors. If I lost them now I wouldn't know what to do with myself.

"I don't know. Maybe we should ask Midnightstar first.." Summerstripe said looking to the ground afraid to look at either of us.

Serves her right. I thought angrily. She should be scared because there was nothing worse then an enraged mother. Two of them just made it worse. Not even the toms could settle us down.

"I vote we get Nugget and Creampaw. Set them off in different ways. I'll follow Creampaw and you three can follow Nugget." Shinyfall said and started to head toward where the red fox usually slept away from the other cats.

"Come on Metalclaw. We are going to go get Creampaw." I told him and headed off to the medicine cat's den with a quick pace.

"Slow down. At this rate you will be too tired to keep going when we go searching." Metalclaw hissed from behind me.

I rolled my eyes and slowed down a little more for him. I just had to find my kit. He should understand that right? Even if he was.... No, I shouldn't think that. He has changed. He would never dream of going back to evil. He would always be good just like me now. He was the one that kept me good and I was the one that kept him good. We relied on each other more than we let others know.

Oh no, stuff is going to go down. We should just let those two go defeat whoever has Aquapaw and Tinypaw and they would destroy everyone XD. Nothing is worse than an enraged mother. I hope you liked the chapter and don't forget to leave a vote or a comment!
