Chapter 21

[Tinypaw's POV]

Bugpaw came over toward me and Aquapaw as we shifted unrestlessly. It was glad to know that some of EverClan survived but they could be running out of time soon. Soon Fangbreeze's mate, Skycloud, came over to the three of us.

"I hope he doesn't die. Our kits don't deserve to not know their father." Skycloud said softly. Bugpaw smiled up to she white shecat. My eyes widened a little. Skycloud was pregnant. EverClan would survive this. Even if Fangbreeze died, we would still have Skycloud, her kits, and Bugpaw.

"I'll still be here to help you. I won't let my clan fall apart." Bugpaw purred to her.

"That's right, you can make EverClan a good clan now. These kits, they hold the future of your clan in their paws. If they are brought up right they can be good, fearless leaders!" I told her flicking my tail slightly. Aquapaw and Bugpaw looked to me impressed. Skycloud just had an improving smile on her face.

"I think Tinypaw is right. EverClan has always survived up until now. We can still survive now." Skycloud said holding her head up high.

"I agree, we have survived much worse, the Dark Forest had control of our clan. We survived that. Now we have a fresh start. It's a new dawn for EverClan." Bugpaw smiled brightly and nodded toward me.

"I'm glad I was inspirational. All I know is that Midnightstar will probably let DepthClan help you get started again." I smiled. Aquapaw nodded agreeing with what I was saying.

"I'm sure all the clans will help you. We all have to stick together or we will never stop fighting." Aquapaw said looking to all the leaders who were talking silently to themselves why the deputies helped the medicine cats with Fangbreeze.

"Yes, I am sure they will. I don't think I would like to be leader though. My sister was one, we all know how she turned out. EverClan will need a young leader anyways if Fangbreeze does die." Skycloud said and looked to Bugpaw. All three of us apprentices were surprised.

"M-me? But I'm barely a warrior!" Bugpaw stuttered. His eyes were wide with surprise.

"Yes, it should be you. You did pass your warriors assignment and if we hadn't been out giving it to you, we would never of survived." Skycloud purred to the small apprentice. I thought for a moment.

"Daisywish and Tulippaw would be proud of you if you became leader." I told him knowing he always wanted to do what his sisters wanted.

"Alright, I'll try to be the leader. We will need a medicine cat as well. Maybe one of the kits will be able to train with one of the medicine cats from another clan when they are old enough." Bugpaw said looking to all of us. He held his head up high.

I wish I could achieve my dreams. Being leader would be great. Then other cats will listen to me. Everyone will have to listen to me. Maybe Bloodtear can help with that.

I was going to do Fangstar but I forgot I already had a Fangstar so I guess Bugstar will work just as well. I might need some names for the kits but I'm not sure.
