Tyler's POV

I woke up the next morning with the sunlight peering into my room. It was so peaceful right now that you would think that we're not currently in a zombie apocalypse... Too bad reality is cruel. I sat up on my bed and stretched. I did my regular morning routine and headed to the kitchen. Today is the last phase of the challenge. If things go accordingly, we should be done around noon or so.

I sat down at a table and waited for the others to arrive. I'm usually the last one up though... This is strange. I heard a small shuffle behind me. I turned around and took out my pistol. The person behind me also pointed a gun at me, but when they saw who I was they sighed in relief. I also calmed down. It was just Seto.

"Hey Seto. Where's everyone else?" I asked.

"I don't know. I got here and heard an explosion. I didn't know what to do besides hide in the cabinets... I heard screams coming from the hall... I heard some gunshots and... I didn't know what to do!"
Seto said breaking down into sobs.

I stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do. I don't see many adult men cry. I walked over to Seto and awkwardly hugged him. He sank down to his knees and sobbed even more. I slowly strokes his head like he was a tiny puppy. He slowly started to calm down after a while. Finally he finished his little break down and we stood back up.

"Thank you... We should go look around now..." he said.

"It's no problem! Real men show their true emotions!" I said scratching my head.

We started to look around the base. We finally made it to one of the many rooms that we didn't know was even in the base. Seriously this base is way too big for our own good. Seto suddenly stopped.

"There's people in there... Here." he said handing me a potion.

"It's just an invisibility potion. It won't hurt!" he said with a little giggle.

I nodded and drank the potion. He also drank a potion and I couldn't see him. I looked down and as I thought, my body wasn't visible. I walked over to the room and put my ear on the door. I feel like Seto was doing the same thing so why not.

I could barely make out the words, but I can still hear the people talking to each other.

"So is this all of the people?"

"From what I saw it is."

"Did you check all of the rooms? The bedrooms for example?"

"No... But I'm sure no one would still be in bed at this time, would they?"

"I guess not..."

"Okay guys. I finally figured out who some of these people are! There's a group of survivors of the zombie apocalypse and the rest are players in a little myth chase game. It's about an elevator that goes up to the 13th floor of a hotel."

"Sounds stupid to me..."

"Sounds exciting to me!"

"Shut up Baka!"

"Guys. Get back on track. We still have to make sure everyone we captured gets infected. It's what Master would have wanted..."

"Now that you mentioned Master.... Don't you think that one prisoner looks like him?"

"I guess so... It's been quite a while so I don't really remember that well..."

"Don't even remember his face? Well that's a shame!"

"I said shut it Baka!

"Yeah yeah... Wait... Do you guys sense people outside right now?"

"Now that you mention it... I do! Quick someone slam the door open so it'll hit them!"

"They would have heard that you know..."

I quickly jump back as the door swung opened. They was a girl wearing a lab coat standing there looking around. She sighed and went back in. I released my breathe that I didn't know I was holding. I heard a shuffle of clothes to my right and looked to it. It was just Seto... I've said that twice now...

"Come on! We have to help everyone!" he said with a mischievous smile on his face.

I was confused on why he was smiling until he pulled out some potions and a spell book. I looked at each of the bottles. Invisibility, strength, swiftness, slowness, jump boost, and enchanting potions. It took me a while to realize what Seto was thinking on doing. I smiled and high fived him. Now then... Time to put our plan into action!

Seto's POV

I hope Tyler understood what I was getting at here. Even if he did, I told him the plan anyways.

"Okay first we drink the swiftness, strength, jump boost and invisibility potions. Then we go inside and throw down an enchanting potions. This will make them distracted. We then throw the slowness potion at them and start to mess around. Do stuff that you would do if you were invisible!" I explained and he nodded.

We drank our potions and went inside. I put a spell on my eyes so that I can still see Tyler. Tyler threw down an enchanting potion while I threw the slowness potion. The people looked incrediblely confused! Their faces were priceless right now! Tyler made a face that looked like ٩(●˙-˙●)۶ as he pushed two of the people together. They fell, one on top of the other, and each one of them blushed madly. They got up and slowly ran toward the exit. In all there were only five people. Two girls and three guys.

I went over to one of the guys and punched him in the face. He must have thought that it was the guy behind him that punch him because he went and punch the other guy. They started their own little fight off in the corner. I giggled at their stupidity and turned to the last guy. He was sitting down on a wheel chair looking around confused. He must have been blind... I felt bad for the guy so I took him by the chair and rolled him out of the room where the other two were sitting awkwardly.

I went back in to see only Tyler there. He was standing and scratching his neck. I noticed that the only one of the people left was a little girl. She was about 5 and was wearing a military uniform. She was sitting there crying her eyes out. Tyler then pulled out some candy from out of no where and put it upfront of the girl. The girl saw the candy and took it happily. She went and joined the others in the hall. I turned my attention to the two fighting in the corner.

I walked up to them and tapped both their shoulders. They both looked around confused when they noticed that everyone in their group was in the hall. They quickly went and joined them. I over heard their little conversation before they headed off. They said something about living life as it is from now on and try and let go of the past. I smiled for them and snuck a few of my potions into the little girls bag before she took it.

I went back inside where Tyler was letting everyone out of their ropes. This morning was something for all of us! It was an unexpected turn of events!
