Chapter 5

Niall's POV

I was laying on my bed while thinking...Does Zayn like me? Do I...Like him?

I mean I've always treated Zayn like a friend, he's like a brother to me! there never was anything else between us.

But why did Mason say he likes me? Has he always liked me?

''Well...His feelings are more concrete now.'' Mason suddenly said.

''SHIT.'' I jumped up. ''Do you always have to pop out of nowhere?'' I said as I went back to the position I was in.  ''And you can read minds too?'' I asked.

''Has anyone ever told you that you think out loud?'' He giggled.

I felt my face turning red. People have actually told me that before, shit. I gotta be more careful.

''Yes, you should be.'' He laughed.

''Stop it!'' I said.

''You're the one saying your thoughts out loud!'' He chuckled.

For once, he's right.

''I'm always right'' He said. 

I sigh. ''Forget it... So did you make Zayn like me or something? Because that's weird...'' I asked.

''I don't change people's feelings, Niall. I'm not God or anything.'' He said that like it was obvious. ''He has probably always liked you in the other dimension, but he's just showing it here, or anything could've happened. But it happened.'' Mason said. 

''What do you mean? You need to stop being so confusing.'' I said.

''Well like I said, I don't change people's hearts, I could change their fate though or some other aspects of their life, but I can not change the person itself. So don't ask me why he likes you because I actually do not know.'' He said.

''I see... So how do you have that power? Are you an angel or something?'' I asked curiously.

''How about we just stick to what's important for now? It's getting late and you have school tomorrow, you should go to sleep.'' Mason said totally avoiding the conversation.

Okay. I'm not going to push it... For now.

''You're right! I'll go to sleep now, night night.'' I said as wrapped myself on my bed sheets so I can sleep comfortably

''Hey... what year is it?'' I asked Mason.

''Niall, we didn't go to the past, we're still in the same timeline. Time is the same in here...'' Mason said, making me feel dumb.

''Can we go to the future?!'' I asked him with excitement, I've always wanted to go to the future.

''It's not in our best interest right now.'' Mason said.

''Why not? Take me!'' I said, getting up from my bed.

''Niall, go to sleep.'' He said impatienly.

Oookay. Rude.

''Okay, you do you and I do me.'' I said.

 I'm really starting to get used to this place and it's barely my first day... I mean I don't really mind it here, I guess I am taking an actual break from my life... Huh, I guess this isn't so bad after all.

''Goodnight, Niall'' Mason said.

''Are you going to sleep too? or...?'' I asked Mason with a chuckle

''Oh no, I'm leaving. I got stuff to do.'' He said and then he dissapeared.
