Today's the day we all finally go back to school, ever since the big fire that burned down Miranda's house, the school, and almost every house in the area, we've been trying to find spots in a descent school, it's been a year, since the accident, Miranda has been staying with us, since her father had been burned alive, and her mother died of childbirth.

We had been homeschooled by JARVAS so we didn't fall behind, but we finally figured out where we are going, midtown, in queens.

Your probably wondering about make yes? Well he was sent to hospital with severe burns, but he was fine, but turns out he blamed the whole thing on Miranda, he said if it wasn't for her he wound be there, then he broke up with her, she was so upset, I just hope she finds someone new...

Well, I was sitting in the kitchen eating some cornflakes when Miranda walked in.

I smiled and asked "you ready to go?", "as ready as I'll ever be" was her reply.

I nod and we grab our bags and head off, but before we could my dad stopped us.

"You off to school?" He asked, I nodded and he smiled bringing me into Hug, I smiled hugging him back "I'll see you later A" he said, using my nickname that all the avengers had started to call me.

They started calling me this when they walked in on me and Miranda watching ppl, and they said that I'm apparently as Troublesome as A, so because my name is Ava....they started calling me A...yup, I know.

"By dad" I grumbled as he laughed patting my head.

Me and Mira walked out as she laughed at me, "oh shhh~" I said putting my finger to my lips to shush her.

She smirked as we got into Tony's car, well happy's but he works for Tony so...yeah.

"Hey girls" he smiled, "hey happy" we said simultaneously.

~arriving at school~

We jump out the car and I give happy a nod of thanks as he smiles and drives off.

I herd a couple whispers, people knew what Tony's car looked like....and what I looked like.

I sighed as I looked over at Miranda, she nodded and we walked, making our way towards the front door.

After going to the registration office we got our time tables and headed to our first class.

Me and Mira walked into our English class and sat down in the two seats my the door, I sighed as I turned to her, "is the teacher asleep?" I asked astonished, she turned to see the teacher drooling on his desk, the class was basically full now, but everyone was on there phones or they where talking.

"Omg, your Ava Rogers aren't you!?" A girl asked, a little to loud for my taste, I pretended not to hear her but she tapped my shoulder, I held In a sigh and turned around to see a really preppy looking girl, but by preppy I really mean bitchy.

"Sorry?" I asked trying to seem oblivious, "your Ava Rogers aren't you?" She asked, I smiled and nodded, "OMG that's so cool, why don't you come sit with us?" The girl next to her, "we are probably more fun than her anyway" she added rather rudely, Miranda looked a little uncomfortable, I rolled my eyes at them and turned back to Mira, "ignore them they're just-"

"Excuse me we where talking to you" the two girls said, I rolled my eyes again and turned to them with the  most sarcastic smile on my face "oh really? Well I was to busy ignoring you to notice" I stated simply, smirking.

"Wow, well your a bitch"

"Actually no! Your the bitch, your the one putting down my friend like a selfish cow!" I sasses back at her, I herd some 'oh's' around the room and laughs.

They scoffed, rolling there eyes "your just jealous" one said and I laughed, "jealous really!? Off what that ugly ass face?" I laughed and I felt Mira Tap my shoulder "Ava please" she pleaded for me to stop, I looked at her confused "these bitches where putting you down, just trying to help" I stated simply, she looked at me with a small smile but looks at her laps embarrassed "everyone's watching" she muttered, I looked up and notice everyone was watching our fight wide eyed, either no one has ever stood up to these girls or they thought id be a perfect princess like my dad...

I sighed and looked back at her "fine I'll be nice" I said then turned to the girls, "sorry sometimes when I'm around annoying bitches I just can't help myself" then turned to the front to talk to Mira, I herd some laughs then everyone began to talk to each other again, I noticed the teacher was still out and laughed slightly, "really?" Mira asked me, I shrugged and said "please don't get mad at me, I just hate people when they put you down, you've already been sad unuth you don't need them adding to the stress" I said truthful then added "I care about you, your my friend".

She smiled at me,"aww,that's the sweetest" she joked "we'll hold onto it because that won't be happening often" I winked, jokingly, she laughed and I laughed to.

"Hi, excuse me, hey sorry I'm Mary, Mary Jane, but you can call me MJ" a girl with red hair said, smiling kindly, "hi MJ" I said smiling and Mira did the same, "what you did back there was brave, I admire that" she said, I laughed lightheartedly and replied "it wasn't that big of a deal".

"No really it was, no one has ever stood up to her, she's a bitch as you said" she said and Mira raised her eyebrows at me, I laughed at her and turned to MJ, "really it was nothing, would you like to sit with us?" I asked, she smiled and nodded, sitting in the chair next to me, Mira on the other side of me.

"I can tell we are all going to be good friends" Mira said smiling, me and MJ nodded to her, "yup, I think we are" I said as MJ laughed a little.
